Before and After Lift! Just Finished

Well I just got done doing the Lift on my 2004 XE 2WD with the help of my Father. It took about 8hrs total time and was not very hard (the hardest part was finding large enough tools to work with).

When I measured the truck from the ground to top of wheel well before the lift install I came up with 35" in the front and 38" in the rear.

I added....

4" Cst lift spindle
Radflo 2.0 coilover
Blisten 5125 rear shocks
Fabtech Cast 4" rear block
CST CBD
35-12.5-18 BFG MT tires mounted on Stock 2005 SE wheels

Now I am at 43" in the front and the Back. So I got 8" in the front and 5" in the Back.

Before

After

Re: Before and After Lift! Just Finished

Would those tires fit without the lift ? Or if so, what would be the smallest lift that would allow those tires to fit w/out any rubbing ?

Thank you

Maybe a mini-lift with the pinch weld mod? Never really looked into it!

I think around 2.5" from the radflos! Still rides pretty smooth!

Thanks, Eric

Re: Before and After Lift! Just Finished

how much did you have to spend for the 35" BFG's? you should add some front and rear shots, I'd like to see how much the tires stick outta wheel wells if ya don't mind.

They dont really stick out at all, just a little! I like it like that! All the bracket lift trucks seem to have the wheels bumped out a bunch!

The tires new are around 300$ each. I got a good deal on a used set!

Eric
Thanks man, good lookin truck! I don't think a bracket lift has anything to do with the tires stickin out. Mine stick out pretty good because of the backspacing on my rims. I think 4whlprts sold me a set for a cheby but I'm not complainin they look great but the mud grapplers are too dang noisy.
