I'm kinda glad to here about everyone else having problems with brake dust so it wasn't just me and now that i have chrome it shows up real good. I'm also wondering about the bumper. you said the end caps were over top of the steel bumper. Does that mean there is chrome under them or just unfinished steel?

There is chrome under them, BUT the steel was not polished or finished so the chrome finish is pretty trashy. The chrome process does prevent rust though. For clarification, the section of the bumper that the plastic side caps bolts to is structural only, don't even think about removing them.

Today I debadged my Titan, took off all the silver badges and the off road decals. Took the tailgate apart and decided I liked the Nissan badge with all the other stuff off the tailgate so left it on....gonna live with it for a while. The truck looks really great without all those badges on it, I really like the fenders without the V8 endurance crap in them. Used my heat gun, took me about 45 minutes, waxed up the spots, looks awesome.

For the brake dust problem I have been told that "Pledge Wipes, Lemon Scent" keeps break dust from sticking to your wheels??? I ride motorcycles and use them on my bike wheels, I have not used them on anything else because break dust hasnt been an issue.

For whatever reason it MUST be "Lemon Scent"

Cheers!

Painted bumpy?

Well to each his own I guess. I love the look of the Titans Grille and would not dream of painting it. Yous looks nicely done though. The color DOES look a bit off in the photo. Pretty truck all in all. The only thing I really want to do to mine is get a rhinoliner and a fiberglass tonneau cover painted the same as the truck. I have given some thought to installing my own Nav system and remote car starter in the inerior as well.
Cheers,

Thumbs up Not bad at all!

Hey Skip ~ your truck looks great! Like the Canteen Green!

Personally I like having the extra chrome for the person in front of me to see in their rearview mirror! What you've done so far is looking good. Keep us posted as your mods progress!
