trying to black out tail lights with VHT progress pics!!
Finally it is done! i used 3 coats of VHT night shadow and 2 of clear coat
i think it came out good! i will post some pics of it in the truck tomorrow cuz it's to late to take pics today lol
what do you guys think?

VHT was like 12 bucks and clear coat was like 6 at O'Reilly's plus 2 bucks for the sand paper lol so it was around 20 bucks

i used 800 grit to prep the lights to get the vht to stick. then after painting (2 coats vht, 2 coats clear), i wetsanded them with 1500 first, then 2000 grit. polished with Meguiars Plastx after.

and i called like 5 shops within like 50 miles of me and they were all the exact same price to do all the lights, some would only do the tails, for 300 BUCKS!!

just like he said 12 bucks for VHT, 6 bucks for clear and a few bucks for sandpaper. right around 25 bucks and my **** looks baller!! i get more compliments on the tail lights then anything else.
