amen. it's light years ahead of my dad's old "break your fingers to get the snaps on the plastic sliders when the temperature is below 70" POS. easy to use, practical, sharp looking, and allows me to put on the bed tube rails.

When the Truxedo gets loose, just unhook the velcro and pull it tight and reattach the velcro.

Question Truxedo question

Beautiful truck. I have a question. I just got the Truxedo low profile cover but I have a big issue already. I have the factory bed extender (no track system) and I cannot lift the bed extender because the Truxedo rails are in the way. I'm wondering if you had any similar issue?

I got the TRUXEDO cover. The Fiber Glass ones limit me on jobs, and what I can carry on the spur of the moment (customer)...

I have the bed extender (oem) and modded it to work as intended. I will explain in full if anyone is intrested....Someone else has done it another way...so do a search too.
My mod was to cut the brackets and extend them, by welding a 2" flaT BAR. then cut 2" off the mid pipes and use as normal. I will try and get some pics once the rain stops.

There's also tension adjusters or screws on the back rail to tighten up the cover they have self adjusting springs but can be adjusted by truning in or out.

Re: Finally Pictures Of The Truxedo Cover

Hey Deep, I am going to look at those rails to see if i can move them forward easily. I don't own a garage, and this time of the year it is hard to do anything outside. Gotta be able to close my tailgate!

As for my Truxedo, it seems to have stretched. Any more and I will not be able to pull it tighter because the velcro is only holding on by a 1/3 as it is. I like the cover, but am not sure if it will last as long as I hoped. I does flap more now than when new.

It dose come with a life time warranty. If you roll it all the way up you can slide the cover side to side for adjustment of the velcro.

Re: Finally Pictures Of The Truxedo Cover

I just got my fold-a-cover yesterday and will install today. Will post pics once installed.Didn't want anyone cutting my soft tonneau during hunting and fishing trips so a fold-a-cover is the way for me.It's not cheap as we all know.

Re: Finally Pictures Of The Truxedo Cover

I thought that I would move this up to the top for a member who was looking for a cover that work with the utility pk.
