bad paint

Opened up the passeger door today on my 3 week old Titan and found the paint chipping on the upper right corner just under the crease. I am taking it in to the dealer on monday for evaluation. Just letting everyone here know they might need to check thier own.

Paint Blemish

I found a blemish on my passenger side door. It looks like a shopping cart ding from a distance, but it is a run in the paint. The dealership is such a big ZERO that I haven't gone back yet. Wish I hadn't looked!

Well I posted this the other day, but I found a blemish on my passeger side rear door - same thing looks like a ding, however its not. Truth be told I didn't want it to be repaired (the thought of them repainting it or bondo, etc. was too much for a new truck - got the dealer to discount the price tag and throw in some extras (couple oil changes, full tank of gas, detail, wheel locks, etc.).

I also have experienced a problem with the paint but on my roof. It looks like a large dripping of clearcoat about the size of a quarter. I don't want the dealer to mess with it because he wants to totally repaint the roof but I figure no one will see it unless they are on the roof anyway.

The paint on the inwardly curved portion of the lower side panels on mine has a slightly bubbled appearance. You can't see it unless you get down and look under.

i have a paint blemish on the tailgate under the clearcote. i had to raise hell to get them to look at it then they told me it was normal. i told him he was crazy and that the owner had assured me they would take care of it. after that he scheduled an appointment with the nissan rep that deals with paint.

Me 2

There was what I call a fish eye in my rear door clear coat. Dirt that causes a swirl in the paint to appear like a fish eye. The dealer had tried to get it out, but not short of removing the orange peal from the clear coat. There is a Nissan rep coming to look at it prior to the re-paint. Other then that no issues for me other then the RF.. Truck is great.

Well after 7 friggin weeks I got to take the truck into the rep that deals with paint. I ended up having to call nissan directly at the behest of my dealer because they were ignoring my dealer. Nissan had the rep call me in 2 hours. I will let everyone know what happens as soon as I hear something
