High pitch Ringing Noise while Turning

Just got up to 4000 miles on my Titan. I just started to notice when driving into my garage (with my head is sticking out of the window, because it bearly fits in the garage, make sure it doesn't hit the wall). There is a pinging or high pitch ringing noise (the sound actually pulses) as you slowly turn the wheel. The vehicle is still moving (but bearly), and as you turn the wheel, it makes this sound.

Anyone else observed this problem. It's amazing what you hear, when your vehicle is up next to a wall (so the sound gets reflected back).

If it is only making this sound when you turn the wheel it is probably one of two things. Loose belt or power steering pump problem. When you turn the wheel the pump is working harder to push fluid through the lines to turn the wheels.
