Mine is NOT cracked. Built 02/04.

Must have hired a new overhead-storage-screw-tightening guy down in Canton.

I called my dealer and asked them to order me a new console for when I come in so that it can be in stock and they told me they'd have to see it first to diagnose the problem. I didn't feel like asking what is involved in diagnosing a crack in the console

Mine is cracked in one place on the sunglass holder. Over tightened screw. Not a big deal now, but will keep an eye on it.

Someone needs to show the ham fisted bubbas in Canton how to ease up on the screw gun.

Add to my list

Here's the list so far.

4LO light blinking (I'm not sure how to reproduce this one at the dealer)
Overhead console cracked
Radio fade
Bedliner bubbles

I plan to bring them up at the first oil change. All are what I would consider minor and things I expected to have to deal with.

I took my Titan in today to get the parking brake adjusted, and had my service rep look at the crack in the console (my is cracked around 3 of the screws), and he ordered me another console. Said I would get a call when it came in.

Not just Titans

Look familiar? My console is on order. Only now, there is a tiny piece of plastic rattling around inside the console that is STUNNINGLY LOUD. Like a baby's rattle in your ear.

Tried to remove it myself this am but, of course, the piece is somewhere my fat fingers can't reach.

From the pics, you can see a washer under the screw. Well thats how the dealer got me. I told them to fix it before i paid and they said they would replace it. When I got back into the truck, it was temporarily all tight. Until 3 days later when I noticed that they had rigged it with washers. My fault for not verifying that they had done what they said. Oh well, thats what they make surveys for.

Btw, I seem to have many of the same problems that others have. Hood dents, ripped visor fabric, poor radio reception, etc. This message board stuff is great.

I'm still very happy with this truck.

Roll on.

I guess I should feel very lucky according to the responses in this thread. I have no cracks at any screw hole points. However, I wonder if the problem is due to overtightening of the screws, or if it is stress caused by body flex. If it is stress, then those of us who are not experiencing the problem may be soon. Time will tell.

Mine is cracked also. Only around the bolt in the very front sunglass compartment. I was grabbing my sunglasses one day and went to push the door closed and it wouldn't. I saw a piece of plastic caught between the door and the overhead. I pulled and out and was like "what the hell". I looked up in there and found that half of the plastic was gone. It's been over a month and still waiting for the new overhead. I guess it's on backorder.

My local dealer has had the parts on order for about a month now. They were honest enough to let me know that Nissan was most likely using all the parts they have to build new trucks and will back fill warranty claims. I'm fine with that as long as they do eventually replace it.

My console has been on order for over a month, along with the loose front mud flaps. Dealer said could be up to a three month wait based on other parts order on earlier titans and armadas.
