Question SteeringWheel locking after parking

Hi all,,Was just Wondering if every1's SteeringWheels will lock after putting in park and turning off the motor? (cuz mine dont),,Also checked owners manual and no info,,Was thinking to swing by the dealer and check some Titans on the Lot but it's raining so it just gave me an excuse to come home and post on this Kick *** Forum Thanx........White4x4KC/XE/Born on 01/04

so your saying that you can turn your wheel freely after you shut the car off???

YEP..Even tryed the Wheel at all it's diff tilt area's...still did not lock..

After removal of the key you should be able to lock your steering wheel. It's in the operator's manual.

How far left and right? Maybe you aren't turning it far enough to engage the lock. Just a thought because mine locks easily.

As far as I could with the Truck turned off both ways,,No biggy.Taking it to the dealer tomorrow...crap.

Let us know what the stealership I meant to say dealership did to fix. You may also want to follow the advice on a previous post I replied regarding doing walkthroughs with the service advisor on the exterior and interior condition of your vehicle using a notepad. Both parties agree on the condition make a copy of the notes have them clip it to the work order then do a walkthrough again when you pick it up make sure everything checks out appearance wise.

It Locks

I wasen't going far enough to the right..doh,,My 02 Chevy did'nt have lock steering,,(thats my excuse and im sticking to it)
