Front fan/Belt Clicking/Squeal
I have a 2008 but upon cold start ups (overnight stuff) that lasts at least for 10 minutes it makes a weird clicking fan/belt related squeal. Like I said, it sounds like its fan or belt but the thing is that it happens when you do not press the gas... When pressing the pedal it goes away until you let off again...
Any ideas? The trucks only got 34K miles on it... |

Yeah, it's probably the serpentine belt. Mine does that off and on in the mornings. I would check to make sure it's not a bearing in your PS pump or something like that, but if it is your belt, your choices are to live with it or replace the belt with a higher quality aftermarket belt such as Goodyear Gatorback.
