Tom Peac0ck Nissan in Houston, TX
Salesman-Oscar
Experience-Great

Went to a few dealership before that and they didn't want to deal on their prices. Call TP and made a deal over the phone, price was $1000.00 cheaper than the cheapist previous deal for same exact truck. They even faxed me a paper with the price so I knew they were'nt BSing me. It's a long drive from where I live to them. Drove up did all paper work (got even cheaper finance rate than previous place).

I really wanted to get into a Titan for a cheap as possible. I actually started out looking at the Armada. I drove one MSRP 38K they wanted to sell me for 35K. I eventually settled on the Tital King Cab, I figured that was the only way I could get close to 25K. The only option I REALLY wanted was the power package that gives you the center console, power seat, etc. According to KBB, that would invoice at $24,444, so I figured I could get it under 25K. They didn't have one on the lot with only that option. The closest they had came with

1) the utility bed package (which I really don't need but I do like the spray-in liner)
2) bed tray
3) floor mats
4) billet grill (which I didn't really want to pay for, but I'm glad now that I have it!)

So the MSRP is like $28,300 and invoice $25,512 not including the grill (the truck also had some polished rims for $2000 that I had them take off). They come back with a price of $26,800, but the monthly is still too far over $500 and I don't feel like I'm close enough to 25K. Plus I tell them that I can appreciate the $2000 reduction in price, but the truck is starting out with $1500 in options I didn't want in the first place. They come back about 25 minutes later with $25,850, ZERO down, 2% financing ($508 a month) and the grill stays. DEAL!

These guys are a new dealership located next to a new freeway that is not yet completed, so they are really trying to make some deals, even though my salesman sucked, the sales manager worked with me.

When looking at the Armada, the salesman (Daniel) sits down and says "Let's say we are looking at $38000 for this Armada with T & L, and let's say you put down $11000 just for a round number, you will be paying about $1004 per month". I stood up, grabbed my DL off the table and walked out. He, of course, tried to stop me. I said "we are not even on the same planet, how can we continue talking? We paid more for our Yukon and put less down with a higher interest rate and pay less than $700 per month! Where are you getting these numbers from?" That's when the sales manager got involved. I still ended up leaving for a couple days, pricing at KBB and figuring out exactly what I wanted and how close they could come. THEN I went back and got a decent deal.

The stupid salesman kept telling me over and over that when the evaluation comes in the mail it should be all "Excellent". Yeah right!

Sorry for being long-winded on my first post!

Went there the first and the one person I didnt want to help me came up to start bugging, some 19 yo punk who didn't know anything about the truck. He turned me onto the Lease Manager who was worse. He gave me his final price I said no, he said if you can't do it than neither can I and walked out. I was pissed.

Waited a couple months got in touch with the Internet Manager and everything came together. The Sticker was 28,950 the final selling price was 23450 w/ tax and I had a 3500 rebate, 1500 for my old truck and 500 down to walk out the door for 19,900 the dealer gave me a unimangined $1500 for my old 91 Nissan P/U with 160,000 and a thrashed interior.

If you plan on going there please speak to Jim S and tell him Patrick recomended you.

Dealer: Nissan 46

Salesman: Falou (SP?)
Sales Experience: Extremely disappointing

Poor dealership, from the salesmen right up to the GM. Would not trust for service, would not recommend for sales. Don't want to air dirty laundry in public, PM or E-mail for details.

Dealer/location: Zimbrick Nissan, Madison Wisconsin
Saleperson: Ted Pittman
Purchase Experience - Outstanding!

This is a no nonsense dealership very focused on customer satisfaction, very fair pricing from the get go, and a service department whose approach is to get the job done right the first time. They communicate well and never discount a customers concerns.

Ted was excellent and even followed up after my purchase while he was out away on vacation just to make sure all was well and to answer any questions or concerns I had. He has been instrumental in working with the service department to help assure that all my concerns were properly addressed. We continue to correspond well after the sale.

Zimbrick Nissan is a fine example of what defines excellence and what all car dealerships should strive to achieve.

Re: Dealer/Salesman thread...

Dealership: Power nissan of Irvine
Location: Irvine, CA
Salesperson: after the third try...John, unfortunately he no longer works there
Experience: This place is absolutely worthless...I went there one night to trade in my moms van (we were going to buy her a G35 for Xmas) and I thought it would be fun to just look at the Titans knowing that I was going to wait for the 05's...I started talking to one of the salesperson (barely spoke english...and knew NOTHING about the truck) I told him pointblank that I did not want an 04...I planned on waiting for the 05, and I knew exactly which truck I wanted...he proceeded to fool me into the office so he could get my information so that when the 05 I wanted arrived he would give me a call....this is when his boss came up to me and tried to talk me into the 04 for 20 minutes, and they would not give me the keys to my moms van before I threatened to call the cops. Fortunately a month later I ran into a buddy that happened to work there, I told him the story and he told his manager...just to make me happy they ended up selling me the first 05 in CA (that I wanted...I'm very very picky) 500 bux below invoice...he actually showed me his invoice on the deal...since my family has purchased 2 Z's, and 3 altimas from them they wanted to make us happy...and I went back there once to get my brakes serviced, I was there for three minutes and left, and went to Tustin Nissan...I wish I had of gone to Tustin Nissan in the first place, very friendly and very knowledgable there...sorry, as you can tell I was just very ticked off by this dealership

Re: Dealer/Salesman thread...

salesman was ok, dealership was ok. The kiss your starfish until the car is sold, and then completely forget who you are. They turned their backs on me when my diff started failing, I am on number two diff on my titan. Then they had the nerve to make me sign a waiver that I would fix my diff if it should fail again! The manager, owner, salesmen, and the service department are a bunch of no good, unhonest, rude sons a b(*^h's.

Dealership: Port City Nissan, Portsmouth NH
Salesman: Justin
Rating: Poor

I called my local dealership and asked for any 05 Titans and got a "no" response. So I called the Port City dealership and they replied that they had several. I drove to the dealership, test drove an 06 and was told that I would have to order an 05. That kind of ticked me off, but I really wanted my Titan. I believe I got a good deal on the truck.
Although I really liked the smoke color, I ordered a canteen green. On Monday when the salesman called me, he said that he couldn't get the canteen and smoke was the only available color. Again, I was ticked but I really wanted the truck. I also got hosed on the spray-in bedliner but that's another story and I've written enough.
DO NOT do any business at Port City Nissan. I know I won't go there again.

Re: Dealer/Salesman thread...

Dealership: Brown's Nissan or Arlington,VA
Salesperson: Emil Short
Rating: Good - 3/5 stars
Experience: Sales / Service

Emil is a very good guy, just not too knowledgeable about the Titan. He even advised us against buying the "Red Alert" color at one point, saying it would soon be discontinued. Not very smart on his part. However his sales manager was a very slick guy (a good match for my father), and we ended up getting a pretty good deal at the time. I would definitely recommend Brown's Nissan again... since they are an inner-city dealership, they have a lot of Titans they can't move. Service department is okay, I would rather go to someone else (they were not very obliging or helpful to me).

Dealership: Hall Nissan of Chesapeake, VA
Rating: Excellent - 5/5 stars
Experience Sales / Service

My family has bought 2 Nissans from them, all of our 6 Nissans have been serviced at their new facility. They have an amazing service department and sales, and they are now stocking more vehicles than ever before. They have performed the brake judder TSB and A/C TSB for me with no questions asked. I always bring the guys there something to eat, theyre THAT good to me. Red Team leader Stuart and I go back to 1996 when we got the Maxima, he's a great guy and does amazing/careful work! After the A/C TSB I check the plastic clips that hold the radiator cover on, and they looked brand new (this is a part that is easily eaten up with a screwdriver by anyone no matter how careful).

Dealership: Sheehy Nissan of Glen Burnie, MD
Rating: Excellent - 5/5 stars
Experience: Service

I have absolutely no affiliation with this dealership, and they were able to change out my rear diff when it died in approximatley 8 days. That is VERY fast.. the salesperson was working with Nissan to get the assembly shipped ASAP, and the techs got the job done over a holiday break (Thanksgiving). The service manager who helped me, George, was new there but very helpful and he know what was up with Titans. This dealership also sells lifted/custom Titans so it is unlikely they will give you a problem with mods. I highly recommend Sheehy of Glen Burnie!!

Purchase Experience - Good but the dealership paperwork is ridiculous. I was paying cash (no finance) and it took a couple of hours for their BS paperwork and trying to sell me crap like undercoating. All I needed was keys when I handed them the check. Would question buying from them again or make it clear to have the car ready when I arrive becuase I will not sit with a busines manager for more than 10 minutes to do the title work.

Re: Dealer/Salesman thread...

Can`t believe there are not hundreds of complaints about Action Nissan here in Nashville, Tenn. They are such con artists and liars.. Matt the liar was my con artist. I had to call many times before getting in touch with V/P and still got conned again.. Finally called NNA and became a statistic. Went to differrent dealer down the road in Franklin, Tn. Mike Creque Nissan who was a pleasure to deal with.. Wish i would have gone there in first place,, live and learn.
