Dealer: Connell Nissan, Costa Mesa, CA

Salesman: BK/Jim C

Experience: I believe Laurel and Hardy would have made fewer mistakes. BK gave me a great price, and arranged a dealer transfer for my truck. Came to pick it up the following day, and found they had traded the wrong truck! All worked out in the end, but it was a frustrating experience.

Dealer: Darcars Nissan, Rockville , MD

Salesman: Georges

Experience: First saleperson I met was very slow to respond on phone calls, he left the dealer while I was still looking around at other trucks. A guy name Georges took over, nice guy very low key. Sale manager was very nice, I played hardball, they wanted the truck sold, they met my really low offer. They were very quick in closing the deal and filled the tank and drove my old truck home for me (no trade).

Dealer: Advantage Nissan, Bremerton Washington
Salesman: Chris (Internet guy)
Experience: Excellent!

No hassle internet deal. (1$ below invoice) I knew exactly what truck I wanted, Chris found it and we closed the deal on the phone. Picked it up a week later. Less than 15 minutes of paperwork and I drove it off the lot. I LOVE the internet!

Purchase Experience - Poor - This was my first new vehicle purchase, and the run-around this guy gave me was horible. I called him and told him exactly what I wanted, and he kept telling me that he would have it. When I went in to purchase the truck, he had something completely different. When I told him, I was leaving to go to another dealer, he lowered the price. Sales & Finance overall very bad experience.

Basically, what I would like is the following in your reply:

Dealer/location: Gosch Nissan, Hemet CA
Saleperson: Dee (First names only please - If common like 'John' Last initial is fine).
Purchase Experience - Excellent (Good, Fair, Poor)

I believe this will help some of those that have not yet bought. Please limit it to the PURCHASE of the vehicle. We will probably follow up in the Dealer Service area with a similar post for SERVICE. If anyone wants specific or more info on a specific post in this thread please PM or e-mail that person directly. Thanks!

Dealer: Team Nissan, Manchester NH
Salesperson: Jack
Sales experience: Excellent

Shopped around and ended up there, as expected I had to work for it but within an hour we were right where I wanted to be. They located the exact truck I wanted (color, options) and two days later I drove it home. Beautiful.

Dealer/location: Gates Nissan, Winchester, KY
Saleperson: Howard
Purchase Experience : Excellent before and after the sale. I would highly recommend the dealer. I bypassed local dealer in Lexington and drove 30 mi because of previous poor experience with their service dept. on my 2002 Sierra.

Dealer: Suntrup Nissan&VW
Location: St. Louis MO
Sales Person(s) Chuck and Tony
Experience: Not too good. They subscribe to the aggressive style of sales which I can handle, but makes other people feel pushed around. They let me walk and then called be back the next day. I had to show what the other dealer gave me on my trade to get them to come up almost $2000. They did the deal, but I had to work for it. The problem is that the other dealerships didn't come down on the price as much as this one did. So, you got to work for the better deal. It was work, but I couldn't be happier with the truck. They were all smiles and helpful after the deal. Sharks before.

Kerry Nissan, Florence KY
Salesman - Brent Adams, Great guy to work with but the management sucks. Have bought 2 cars and Truck from them in last 3 years and each time they tried to play games with me. Typical sales ploys but it pi$$es me off. Highly recommend working with Brent.
