Hello,
First, thank all of you for one of the most informative web sites out there. I have learned so much about my vehicle from here.
Second, it is not my style to diss (to quote my daughter) anyone or organization publicly, however, in this case I am making an exception for my friends in the North East (go Sox!).
I was astonished to receive a call tonight from a dealership that I started my Titan search back in August. The brief history:
1) I had previously purchased my '95 King Cab from them and, wanting to be loyal, gave them the first opportunity to show me a Titan.
2) I participated in the Nissan VPP program (pricing, no haggling, some extra treatment).
3) I researched the vehicle (a lot from this site) and was very specific as to what I was looking for and what I was willing to pay.
4) They had limited inventory, sales personnel with limited knowledge of the Titan, and quite frankly, marginal energy.
I stated this in a previous post, that after not hearing from them for a number of weeks, we actually pulled into the lot and spoke to the sales manager. I told him that never in my wildest imagination did I think that I would ever be chasing a car salesman for information or to buy a vehicle.
I received three calls from them during the month of Spetember - all wanting to show me vehicles that didn't match our requirements (significantly).
We ended up going to another dealership (Port City Nissan in Portsmouth, NH) and were treated to an attentive, engaged, and hard working sales staff.
Anyway, getting to tonight's call. I received a call from the original dealership to inquire if I was still looking for a Titan (6 weeks after my last contact with them). I informed them that I was a happy Titan owner, purchased from another dealership, and that they had lost my business. The phone hangs up..............
So folks: STAY AWAY from Rockingham Nissan, Salem NH. Clueless, lack of follow-up, lack of customer engagement (goodness knows how their Service Department is). Again, I am not trying to bury them, however, I actually believe that a dealership like this gives Nissan a bad name.

Service: more than excellent!!!
Zach is very willing to help you with any need. I called him up and told him what i wanted, they didn't have it in inventory so they did a dealer trade. He worked it to cause the dealer didn't want to trade the truck but he got it done. He gave me an amazing price and made everything very fast and easy! I basically said I will buy if you give me invoice and bam! I wasn't pressured to by anything I didn't want to at all, they always respected my first answer, both Zach and the finance guy!

Location: Weatherford (Near Dallas/Fort Worth) Texas
Salesman: Mike Terry (817) 597-1268 or (888) 729-3140 Ext: 1268
Service: Excellent
Jerry's has a large 2004 and 2005 Titan inventory. They offered me the best deal on a 2004 Titan Crew Cab which I purchased on Saturday. I tried several other dealers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and Jerry's Nissan offer came out the best.
Dealership: Jerry's Nissan
Location: Weatherford (Near Dallas/Fort Worth) Texas
Salesman:Clarence Russell and Hutch Pine
Service: Excellent
I saw what I wanted via NISSANUSA.COM dealer inventory. Contacted Jerry's and spoke to Hutch Pine. Took less then 5 minutes with total satisfaction. Once I got to the dealership Clarence Russell took over from there. Excellent price and great service! Now an owner of a 2005 Nissan CC LE (Smoke).
Dealership: Tynan's Nissan
Location: Aurora, CO
Salesman: Scott Mitchell, Fleet and Internet
Service: Excellent
Tynan's won my business over the other 4 dealers I talked to with their pricing. It took me over a month to check with the 5 different dealers but it was worth the wait.
Jim Tynan gave me a great introduction to all the features once we closed the deal.
I also highly recommend staying away from the Woodmen Nissan and Academy Nissan dealers in Colorado Springs.
Dealership: Maxwell Town North Nissan
Location: Austin, TX
Salesman: Lenny
Service: Awesome!
Purchased through my insurance company and they put me through to my salesperson, Lenny. I have NEVER come across such a down to earth salesman who actually does care about the people he sells cars to. He has no qualms about shooting the bull with you and remembers me EVERY time I have to come into the dealer, which hasn't been very much. Was very interested in anything that I found after I first went home with my Titan and genuinely worked to get everything to my satisfaction, and not even flinching when I went to the GM - totally understood that it wasn't anything that he had done.
Greg W my Service Advisor has also been great and no problems with looking into any problems I might mention to him and gives me a straight up answer - don't feel like he is feeding me BS when he tells me the problem can't be duplicated.

The purchase exp. was Excellent however; when I finally closed the deal on my truck it was 10pm so there was little light to show off any blemishes. It was a couple days later when I noticed some serious scratched ALL OVER the hood from a bad buff job...
:>( I brought it back and with no problems they attempted fix #1... No luck, so appointment #2 was made for a "more thorough" attempt to remove the scratches. When I got it back I looked it over pretty well and was not satisfied; in fact, they made more severe scratches. The damn hood of my truck looks like it was buffed with an SOS pad. To say the least I am very pissed and I plan to take the truck back tomorrow along with a bit of attitude! BTW, the scratches are unnoticeable until just the minutest amount of dust fills them, then they become an extreme eye sore. What I could see the day they finished the second attempt was only the tip of the ice burg. I am hoping for better luck tomorrow but I am worried that if they keep sanding, buffing, etc, I won’t have jack for a clear coat left! So all in all, the sales service was great, the vehicle maintenance service so far is the worst I’ve dealt with! More to come

Experience: Poor / gives you the run-around
What I noticed about this particular dealership was how well they treat you before your purchase then after they got you.....THEY DON'T CARE! just purchased my titan a month ago for $31,000 and after purchasing the vehicle my salesperson tells me he only has one key and no manuals but he'll get them in a few days. Wait after wait he tells me to come in today to pickup sets of key and alarm and manual. Went to see him and already he gives me the run around and tell me to go the parts/service. The manager tells me to wait and see if he had alarm and keys in stock and after waiting for 1 hr. he gives me the bad news that they're on backorder. I mean we're talking 1 month now! On top of that the vehicle did not have the tie-down cleat lugs and wrench which was suppose to be on my truck since it's part of the package I bought. Still, he tells me I have them....went today to get my parts and they told me they have to order. What the HELLl! I ALREADY purchased my truck couldn't you just grab a new one from another titan? NO!! We have to order......what a piece of crap company. On top of that the steering wheel is so OUT OF ALIGNMENT and faces to the right. The service manager tells me to leave it overnight which I couldn't cause I have to drive my mother to the airport. No rentals allowed by BTW. Then he went on to tell me it'll be fine driving like this.....he also said all the used cars drive like that. I'm SHOCK! This is a NEW vehicle, shouldn't be pulling to the right and damn it's dangerous. Then another problem I had was finding out the hard way that I have to wait 10 seconds to roll up my passenger and driver windows if it's roll down all the way. It was raining extremely hard this past saturday and DAMN windows won't work as well as squeaky wipers. Got my interiors wet and who knows what else. Today, he tells me to wait awhile for the windows to roll up and demonstrated it for me cause he tells me there's a safety switch. I'm like, so even during rain or snow I have to wait 10 seconds for it to go up. What gives. I deeply have regrets reagrding my purchase at THIS dealership PERFORMANCE NISSAN. Although it was a couple hundred dollar cheaper than another dealership. I would gladly trade my horrible experience and pay a little more than to go through the worst customer service I've ever encounter! The sales manager promises to resolve all these tomorrow. Hopefully, he sticks to his word. We'll see
Still love my truck just wished the dealership own up to it's service
