Re: Dealer/Salesman thread...

Advantage Nissan, Bremerton WA
Internet Sales Manager: Chuck Capps
Experience: Outstanding!!!

I emailed Chuck 3 days ago with my lowball offer of $500 under invoice, he accepted & I drove home my new Titan 2wd KC XE this morning. We had a lot of communication over the last three days & I kept waiting for the "catch", it never happened. No hidden fees or BS. Chuck & his entire supporting staff were very professional. I give these guys my highest recommendation.

I got my truck for $5747 under MSRP. I bought a barebones model, if I would have bought a 4X4 LE fully optioned, the savings would be considerable more.

Thumbs up Re: Dealer/Salesman thread...

Dealer/location: White Marsh, Maryland - Carmax Nissan
Saleperson: Steve S.
Purchase Experience - Excellent

I thought the no-haggle price was excellent (i shopped a LOT of Nissan dealerships), i was never pressured on anything except the extended warranty and he gave up on that after the second 'no'.
The only downsides are: carmax has a 'predetermined test drive route' which is pretty lame. Carmax also makes you walk through show room before perusing the vehicles. But after the initial welcome they give you, they pretty much leave you alone, merely asking on occasion if you need any help.

Re: Dealer/Salesman thread...

Trophy Nissan, Mesquite Texas

Ryan kohler

POOR

Everything went smooth on price and paperwork until extended warranty but problem was it was already in the paperwork but they tried to charge me for it again. Truck was delivered dirty and when i say dirty fingerprints, grease smudges on interior, antenna was missing and they wanted to argue about it .
and it came with the big tow and the didn't even give me a stinger.

I would avoid these guys or just watch them carefully and get it writing.

Re: Dealer/Salesman thread...

Dealer/location: Butler Nissan in Noblesville, Indiana (near Indianapolis)
Saleperson: Ken
Purchase Experience - Excellent
They found me the truck I wanted 07 KC SE Black with Tow PKG.
I bought it at invoice minus $5000 rebate. They came close to what I owed
on my Trailblazer. Offered to sell me extras at a discount later. Ex: Running boards, Ipod interface etc. No pressure at all.

Dave

Re: Dealer/Salesman thread...

Dealer/location: Don Hinds Ford/ Fishers, Indiana (I bought it used)
Saleperson: Janet
Purchase Experience - Excellent

I bought the truck the moment I laid eyes on the beast. I had no intentions what-so-ever of making any type of purchase that day...hmm, that seems to happen to often. Anywho, it has been the greatest thing I have owned to this date (besides my 1951 Dodge Truck, that's my baby). Janet was the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. No hassle, just as easy going as a good friend. Just remember, you'll always find your treasures on the other car makers lots

Unhappy Re: Dealer/Salesman thread...

2004 Nissan Titan

Dealer: San Bernardino Nissan
San Berardino, CA

Salesman: Hector / Vince

Experience: Poor

I was not happy with my experience at all. Hector was the salesman while Vince was the Assistant Sales Manager on the deal. Hector seemed like a nice guy, but Vince was your usual "I will promise you the world and deny it later" salesman. I am glad I purchased a Titan, but unhappy with the dealer I purchased it from. What's worse is that I have heard that there are no good dealers in my area of California and I would need to drive some distance to have a better buying experience.

Re: Dealer/Salesman thread...

Dealer/location: Roswell, GA - Regal Nissan
Saleperson: David Gentile
Purchase Experience - Excellent

I did all research online so I just called up and asked to drive the vehicle. Dave set it up, didn't pressure or act like a jackass sales person that everyone else was. He knew I had done all the research I think. Went home and called him the next day with an offer. He had all the paperwork ready when I got there and it took no time. No haggling took place at all and I know I got a really good deal (although less than if I bought it now with the bigger rebates!). Great experience compared to all other times I've bought vehicles. Will call him up first next time I need a vehicle for me, wife, kids, whatever.

Re: Dealer/Salesman thread...

First Post, Purchased my 08 TitanKC SE 2wd from North Texas Nissan in Corinth, TX
The sales person was Scott C. and overall I must rate this as an overall good experience. Scott did his job, and I drove out with my Red Brawn Titan.

Watch out for the parts department though I just called for the hitch kit and they are $50.00 higher than 2 other local dealers.

Thumbs down Re: Dealer/Salesman thread...

Dealer: Rosenthal Nissan
Location: Tysons Corner, Virginia

Totally tired to hold my tags and get an extra $760 from me before releasing them. I ended up talking to a lawyer, and had to threaten to take them to court for breach of contract.

I got my tags w/o paying any extra... but what a scumbag dealership!
