I have been using Team Nissan on Cobb Parkway in Marietta for my 98 pathfinder. They have done a decent job but I have had better service in other states. Now that I have the Titan I will let you know how things go when I take it in for TSBs and an oil change in 1000 miles. Plus I got a demo and I want them to fix some scratches near the volume controls. (I guess the Sales Manager who was driving it had a very rough wedding ring)
If all goes well I will make an update. In the mean time if someone finds a decent dealer in the Atlanta area please let me know.
I've used two dealerships for service south of Atlanta (may be too much of a drive for you) 1- Morrow and 2- Griffin
1-Morrow: Decent service. They fixed the few problems I was having after taking it back a 2nd time. I gave a description of the problem and the location but they refused to look at it again until it was making the noise. My luck, the noise would come and go... and never wanted to act up at the dealership. My other small issues were not of concern to them. Being new to the Nissan line, I didn't know if there was a problem or weird quirk of the Titan- they didn't care to give a brief explanation for the smaller conerns I had.
2-Griffin: Excellent service. Best car service I've ever received. Very friendly and willing to help you in any way they can, including answering questions regarding your completed service and anything that's upcoming in detail. Very trustworthy.
Dealer/Location: Silver Spring, MD
Dealer name: Mile One Herb Gordon Nissan
Service Advisor: Greg Edward
Excellent service. Done all service. Got 27, 943 miles on my 2006 Crew Cab.
That's the same dealership I use. My service guy is George. They have a great service department there for sure. Only problem now I've been waiting on the bolts for the '05 diff cover for two weeks now. Getting it for free because I sent some one their way that bought an '06 Maximium. Can't wait to get it installed. I have an '04 with over 56000 miles and all service done at Herb Gordon all top notch.
I took my truck to the dealer today to have some work done. Change the oil, carry out the tow hitch recall, and most importantly, look at the brake judder. My pads were almost completely gone BTW. My truck is 2 years, 364 days old. One day from the end of the warranty.
I dropped off the truck at 10am, they called me at 6pm.
Truck washed, ready to go with:
Oil changed.
Recall performed.
New front rotors, new front pads, new rear pads, resurfaced rear rotors.
They didn't try to pawn me off with half-assed brake fixes, they did me right. No questions, no fuss.
Dealer/Location: Ocala Nissan, Ocala FL
Service Advisor: Scott
Service Experience: Very good
04 with 23K miles, 2 months left on time. Took in for bedliner bubbling. Scott took digital photos to submit to Nissan and assured me it would be taken care of. He warned me that it may take some time for approval. About four weeks later, he phoned to tell me it was approved and scheduled an appointment to have it flat-bed transported to the authorized Rhino dealer to be resprayed. Although it took longer than expected (6 days instead of 3) due to pretty severe bubbling, I was given a decent rental for the time. Got the truck back today and the job was excellent. Scott and the rest of the service crew were courteous and professional. I had them do a filter and oil change while it was in, which they also made sure was done before calling me. I took it in with 1/4 tank of gas and picked it up with a half a tank.
One of the few times I have been satisfied the first time by a dealership.

Hello! I want to know, where you have a section for advertising at a forum? Or it is not present? I have not found it.
P.S. Are you see storm in Europe? It's a horror...
Dealer/ Location: Family Nissan/ Rancho Santa Margarita, Ca.
Service Writer: Sabina
Service: Excellent
This lady is great.
I used to go to Irvine Nissan in Irvine Ca. When I went there after I got my Titan lifted, that’s when the started giving me crap. Tell me my truck was too tall for them to work with.
I called Family Nissan and explained my situation and they told me to bring the truck on in. Sabina had no problems with having her people work on my truck. As a matter of fact she did not even charge me for the service saying that she did not want me to have a bad taste in my mouth about Nissan. I have been going there ever sence when I needed service. I have also bought an Altima SER from there because of the service that this lady showed to me and my wife.
No I do not work for them…lol
Just in case anyone is thinking that…lol

Service Manager: Anyone who just happens to be there when you roll in.
Overall: Good with conditions--see below!
BLUF: Take your Titan there ONLY if you can stay and watch them work!! The techs did a few shady things while I was watching!! The 30k service is cheap! Only $396 for everything!! They will NOT to the 2* timing advance b/c it's 'illegal' for them to do it.
I haven't seen a post on these guys from anyone yet-and I know there are A LOT of Titan oHere's my story:
I took my 05 Titan CC SE in to these guys for the dreaded 30k service. The dealership is in a BRAND new facility. The shop is kinda small but clean. Customer service is OK. Their waiting area has a nice flat screen TV, kids play area, clean restrooms, tables to work at, and leather couches to lounge in. It also has a window to the shop with a table and bar stools-you're able to see every car in there being serviced-nice feature.
This however did not stop them from pulling some shady sh**.
Event 1: From the minute my truck pulled into the bay I watched my technician. He pulled it onto a lift on the opposite end of the bay and right in front of me was a dumba** tech working on a Nissan Quest. He was trying to reinstall a plastic cover underneath the front bumper and was having some trouble. He and the senior tech decided to do some Ozark engineering on it-the senior tech trimmed some plastic pieces off the customers car so the dumba** tech could get the cover snapped into place. The WHOLE time I watched them do this and they knew it-they did it right in front of the window in plain sight of anyone who might have been watching. When the lady came back I told her what I witnessed and she went and had a nice talk with the service manager.
Event 2: I brought my truck in having been told it would take 3 hours to complete. The tech started his work very quickly-having begun draining all the fluids almost immediately. 3 hours later the tech is still draining fluids, even though I could see nothing was coming out, and the service manager comes to tell me that it will be a little while longer will it finishes up (event 3 happens here). At this time my tech disappears for 30 minutes! No where to be found, no one touches my truck, fluids still 'draining.' 45 minutes pass before he comes back, buttons everything back up, and drives it around for me to pick up. Basically he successfully got another labor hour tacked onto the bill. The bill was really cheap though-even after 4 hours labor.
Event 3: When the service manager came to stall for more time he reviewed checklist of work performed on my truck. He begins to explain to me that 'little' things like replacing the radiator cap isn't necessary even though it's prescribed in the service manual. I don't think I've ever replaced a radiator cap on any of my cars-but I told him I'm paying him for the complete 30k service and not his opinion of what should not be done.
Overall, I'm pleased with the experience largely based on the fact that it was relatively cheap compared to what some have you guys have had it done for. I'm fortunate that it wasn't 5-600+-then I would have been pretty angry. So if you plan on using them, I urge you to PLEASE stay there with your vehicle and watch them like a hawk. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Dealer / Location: Clay Nissan, Dedham MA
Service Person: Dealt with a few of them
Service: Tried to BS me and charge me $500+ for pads and rotors to fix brake juddering when it would have been covered under the TSB! They tried to tell me that it was a heavy vehicle and that I couldn't expect more then 25039k miles on the brakes. I wonder if they would have also billed Nissan for the brake judder and double dipped? Good thing I had the collective knowledge of this forum and a copy of the TSB to know enough to recognize this BS. Took it to another dealer:
Dealer / Location: Mastria, Raynham MA
Manager: talked to three of four people there
Service: What a difference!!! They were all very professional. After a quick verification of the problem, they said it would be fixed and I could pick it up in 4 hours! They even turned down the rear rotors at no charge to make sure the juddering would be fixed - couldn't believe the other dealer wouldn't fix it under the TSB since it was an obvious juddering issue.
I have some service department drama. The entire service department at my local dealership( I will just let you use Mapquest for that mmmk) got fired because apparently the woman "over the department" (interesting choice of words...yet ironic) had been sleeping with most, if not all of the service department people, if not most of them. So if you need to go to a Nissan dealership in Gulfport, MS then it will be a while before you can gte anything done there. They are all out having some big orgy somewhere, so now I can't get my erl changed.

Service Experience - Excellent
Another great experience at Mossy Oceanside. First time dealing with this service advisor and was very pleased with the results. He listened to all my concerns (didnt give a bs answer like some other dealers before the even check out the problem) and was knowledgeable (He knew about the TSBs!). Will go back for sure.

Dealership service shop is a complete dump.
Work is never checked and service techs are allowed to let your vehicle leave in sub-standard conditions.
Warning: If you like to keep your vehicle in great condition i highly reccomend finding another service shop. They are terrible.
Re: Service Department Experiences - Here's a good one...
Most of my experiences at this dealer have been very good. But, they have a new service advisor, who handled my 30k mile service.
I asked them to, in addition to the laundry list of 30k service items, check the alignment and let me know if it needed to be done. Well...of course it did (would you expect anything but?).
The service advisor called and said his tech had checked the alignment and the he was recommending a 4-wheel alignment.
I decided to have a little fun. I asked the service advisor to ask his tech why the 4-wheel alignment was needed instead of the usual 2-wheel alignment. His answer stunned me. He said, without hesitating, that the 4-wheel alignment was standard and came "with the kit." For this they wanted $129.00. This is a level of bullschidt I didn't expect.
So...I said, what's the procedure for the rear alignment on a live axle vehicle? He said he wasn't sure of the details. I said, well...I'd like your tech to explain how he plans to do it and why it should cost $129.00.
He repeated his "included in the alignment kit" comment and said it included a "rear camber adjustment." WHAT???? I decided to lower the boom and explain that he was full of schidt and why.
When I picked my truck up, I noticed a couple of items they missed, including the steam cleaning of the engine. The service advisor showed me what he thought was evidence that it had been done...a wet spot on the plastic engine cover. After I pointed out that it was OIL HIS TECH SPILLED...and the VALVE COVERS WERE DUSTY...he looked like he wanted to crawl under a rock.
I told him..."This dealer has given me good service in the past...you're new here...don't let this happen again."
I'm going to have a conversation with the service manager tomorrow about it, Not to hammer the service advisor...but if he doesn't know, he can't correct the issue.
