Help me get my Skidplate

If you read my previous thread, you know that I just realized I was cheated out of a skidplate in my off road pkg. I noticed while I was at my dealer tuesday morning. I told them and they said they have to take it up with nissan to see what they could do. When I got home I immediatly filed a case with nissan. I checked up today thursday and they still havent filed. WTF!!!! I bought a fully loaded LE KC and the guy said this morning, "Maybe your truck just dont get one." BULLS#IT. I got everything except nav. and DVD. So as far as the skidplate I got the 4x4 off road pkg and big tow, They have no excuse. Why are they making such a big deal. Why wont they just order the damn thing? I want what I paid for!!! What should I do to get the ball goin faster. I'm impatient. I feel like they hope I'll just forget about it.

I would ask the dealer to remove a skid plate off a truck in the lot and install it on yours.

Do you have the window sticker that lists everything that your truck was suppose to have?

If they don't give you one off another truck or order one and you feel they are giving you the run around, escalate. Keep asking for the persons boss until you reach someone who will make good on it. Stay as calm as you can but persistant. Once you hit the general manager you will hopefully get them moving. Don't take BS for an answer. Like Kcrisp said, have the window sticker or print out what comes with this package and they have no way to say it doesn't come with one. Good luck!

Most people don't keep the sticker past the 1st couple of days/weeks. But Nissan's web site explains what an "Off Road" Package has when you build one on the site. Print that off and shove it in their faces.

I did keep my window sticker and it lists the following for the OFF ROAD PACKAGE:

17" alloy wheels w/P285/70r17 BFG OWL Tires
Rancho shocks, lower final axle ratio, fog lamps
Tow hooks, skid plates for Radiator/oil pan, t/case

Do you have skid plates protecting the oil pan and t/case? If you do, makes me wonder if the dealer removed the front skid plate for some reason??? If so...

the dealer! BTW, what dealer is it?

I called 800-Nissan-1 and they told me they are only customer affairs and they can contact the dealer for an inquiry but cant make anything happen. I did show the dealer my sticker that yes I do still have as I'm a packrat and never throw anything away, they said it should have been picked up in the PDI. Almost accusing me of removing it for sale or some s#it like that. I talked to the sales manager, service manager, and my salesperson. Nothing. Now what???

Sounds like a Nasty-gram is in order to the General Manager with a copy CC'ed to the owner. Be specific in that you have not acheived resolution from the Sales Manager, etc. Just keep going up the chain until you get someone's attention.

What dealership are you dealing with?

What is so hard about just pulling one from a truck on the lot and putting it on mine and not selling that truck until the new one arrives for it? Instead of making me go through all the waiting.

Then if he BS's you or refuses, them him you will immediately file with the Attorney General of Maryland, Chamber of Commerce, and the BBB on several counts: "unjust enrichment" (they failed to give you what you paid for didn't they?), "false advertising" (they said it was on the truck and it clearly isn't), and I'm sure you can come up with a few. Also, them him that many of Sheehy's prospective customers visit this forum and others related to the Titan, and the many bad posts will indeed hurt sales. . . . etc.
