Squeaky Seat

Does anyone have a squeaky drivers seat or dash? Mine has gotten to the point that when i make any turn i hear this horrible SQUUEEEEEEEAK sound. Once the truck straightens out...no squeak (not even over bumps).

I have tried putting oil on the rails and checked the dash for loose parts, but can't locate the problem. Any ideas?

I plan to let the dealer know about it when i take it in for the next oil change, but after weeks of hearing this squeak sound i can't take it another day. Please help!

Had the squeaky seat. Took it in today and the dealer took the seat out, tightened all the bolts and screws and it is gone. that and the dash that i posted about earlier was the last thing i needed to fix with the squeaks and rattles thing.

Is squeaking, only when someone is sitting in it and i go over bumps in the road or turns. What the hell is going on? I love my titan but its one squeak after another.

My passenger seat just developed an unpleasant squeak at about 4,000 mi. Haven't had a chance to take it to the dealer yet. I'm still waiting on replacement parts for the rear center seatbelt assy.. that keeps getting stuck. Hopefully the dealer will be able to fix the seat easily...

my seat is doing the same thing and my dealer says they cant replicate it. the seat really annoys me and now i know im not the only one. its probably in how the seat is made. i will take it in again and see what they will do.

I am not getting any squeak from the seats yet but won't be surprised when it happens. Someone said the audio engineers should be fired, I think all the people that involved with any part of the interior should be fired....

Our Titan is at the dealer right now with the squeaky passenger seat. It appears to be related to the seatback and although it's hard to replicate. Ours is most likely to squeak when we're towing our boat and someone is seated in the passenger seat... most likely due to the ride being slightly more harsh.

Mine was easy to replicate. If you sit in the seat push your back against the seat and wiggle it will squeak. My seat was not replaced....but they fixed it.

Seems like the squeaks are gone, but the real test is when towing. Hopefully mother nature will cooperate this weekend and we'll get some boat time.

We also found a bit of rust on the seat frames, and the dealer painted the portion that's visible. See:

I have a driver seat squeak. After many frustrating attempts to isolate the source, I found mine in the seat belt anchor. With the seat belt on and when there is truck body shifting (dips in road, changes in angle of movement, etc) I hear the squeak. I can ususally reproduce by taking a deep breath while wearing the seat belt. If you hold onto the seatbelt anchor, it stops. Of course first time I brought it in and tried to explain it to them they said they couldn't reproduce.....

The seat has a bar that goes across the bottom of the seat back and they can either tighten the screws or tack weld it and your problem will be solved!
