Hey, guys hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. Im a 2005 4x4 CC titan. Last 2 weeks been noticing a loud screeching noise mostly when I let off the gas from 10-40. Nothing while accelerating, it is also loud when I apply the brakes. Its very aggrevating because its very noticable when coming to a stop and letting off the gas at a slow and medium roll. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. To me it seems like it could possibly be the brakes, wheels, or suspension.
thanks

Have you checked your brakes, wheels, or suspension?
I have something similar on my 04 when I'm idle. Mines more like a rattle than a screech. As soon as I give it some gas and get around 25 it goes away. I'm pretty sure mine is the heatshield but I can't find it for the life of me.

Since ive noticed it ive been waking up when its dark and getting home when its dark.lol i plan to take a look at everything this weekend.Just trying to see if anybody has had anything similar or where to pin point it.
its like a constant thing around slow speeds, nothing while accelerating... its loudest when i apply the brakes but the sound is there when im not applying the brakes also?? idk maybe something with the brakes, ideas??

If your pads are worn down to the sensor then the noise will be constant. Thats probably what it is. Also there is a thin metal dust shield on the back of the hub assembly...if its gets bent enough to contact the rotor it will make some noise.
