Upholstery fraying

Anyone have any problems with the cloth upholstery. In my truck the forward edge of the driver's chair has stated to fray. I only have 3000 miles on it...

No problem yet, at 1500 miles. I'd insist the dealer fix or replace the upholstery or the entire seat if necessary. Don't let them tell you "normal wear and tear is not covered under warranty". What you have is a defect in materials and/or workmanship. Good luck.

Definately a defect as I see it. All the fray ends are the same length which tells me they didn't do whatever it is they do underneath to keep it from pulling back like that.

My front passenger seat is fraying and its now going on 6 weeks since they ordered the new seat cover. Im just now beginning to feel the brake shudder in the pedal and the vibration in the body. I have over 6200 miles on the odometer.

I too have had the same issue.

Over 8 weeks on back order. Noticed that the front driver seat was frayed on the second day that I got it. I have this on both the bottom and the back. I also have a hole in the padding in the drivers arm rest. THey would not order me a new seat. Getting tire of them taking so long. Maybe I call Nissan directly.

That's quite a coincidence! I have had an armrest on order for a while too! There's a hard ridge in the armrest which in time would probably poke through the fabric. Also on driver's side chair BTW.

Yup, mine has done that too.

I've had the seat cover replaced twice so far...

It seems the seat covers are on eternal back order! My seat fabric was pulling away from my power seat controls, the dealer ordered me a new seat cover. Three weeks went by, they said they were on back order. They called and said it was in, I went and had it installed, it wasn't even close to the same color. They ordered me another one and that was about 2 months ago. Still on back order as of Saturday May 14. When it finally does come in, I am ordering Hatchie Bottom seat covers from Cabelas! Oh, the joys of BACKORDER!!!
