A couple of thoughts:

1. Is there a sensor or something that got disconnected?

2. Did you leave the doors open while doing the install and drain the battery through the interior lights?

I disconnected the mass air sensor, But re-connected it after the install, The battery is good. The truck will start for about 10 sec than die.

Try disconnecting the battery for at least a couple hours then reconnect it and try to start again.

Also, double check that you don't have anything obstructing the intake...plastic? paper?

Dooboy - as suggested above, you've likely either installed your MAF sensor backwards or dropped/broken the sensor.

A shutdown 10 seconds after startup is caused by a faulty MAF sensor. The MAF sensor is the main input to the fuel delivery determination - No MAF, no fuel.

The MAF determines the amount of fuel delivered to the engine. The vehicle will start on the starting circuit, but when that is complete if the MAF is not senseing airflow it does not trigger the fuel pump. The MAF is like the reohstat we use in our homes to control the lighting. The more you turn it up, the more current is sent to the light.

MAF= Mass Airflow Sensor

If you have confirmed that the air meter is installed correctly, then check the ground wire that is installed under the mid-bracket. I'm not sure about the titan's ecu but the ford 5.0 will run without the mass air connected(in limp mode) he he he said limp

good luck

I will check the MAF sensor when I get home. To see if it is working or install backwards.

Uhhhh... huh huh.... limp mode.

I have seen people talking about disconnecting the battery overnight to clear the ECM, but there is a quicker way (I think). I use the Frontier method of disconnecting the negative, turning the key all the way to start for 10 seconds then off, then connect the negative terminal. No negative effects so I assume it works.

As for the MAF, I saw that mine had two white stripes which I assume meant "this side up" (actually, I just got lucky and noticed them before removing the MAF).

How did the install on the Air Charger go anyhow? Better guidance than the Volant I assume?
