Arrow key fob disintegrates

hey folks!
i'm going to call the dealer on this sometime this week, just thought i'd throw it out and see if anyone else has the same problem:
my key-fob remote is disintegrating! i haven't been abusing it in any way, just carrying it in my pocket and hanging it on a rack.. suddenly, large cracks appear across the face. tried taking it apart, and i can't super glue it due to tight space under the buttons..
what the heck?!? anybody else had this happen? how'd you deal with it?
thanks!

key Fob

I had the same problem with one of my FOBS! I thought one of my kids got ahold of it. I will bring it up with my dealer when my is in the shop again for more repairs. Stereo, 4x4 light problem, window problem and the list just keeps getting bigger!

broken key fob housing

Both of my fobs are broken at the key ring. Half of the plastic is gone so there's only a thin piece keeping the fob on my key ring. Anyone had success getting Nissan to replace? These are expensive little fckers, I'd hate to lose them.

I had the same problem with both of my fobs. The dealership tried to blame me for dropping them. I took both in and showed them how they both had cracked in the exact same place. The finally replaced (after considerable whining about it being my fault) both at no charge.
