Car Rental/Serivce Drop Off???

Just wondering are we (titan owners) supposed to get a rental car when we drop off our car for service through Nissan??

Have to take mine in for a oil change and some other nick nacks --so I was just wondering ??

I'm not sure, but I need to take mine in too. And I would hope to get a car. Since the problems are with Nissan.

No rent car, unless you have the Nissan extended warranty, which authorizes the owner a rental while vehicle is in shop for warranty issues.

If you have an extended warranty and they are fixing a defect, then you get a rental car. If it is just for a oil change, then you have to pay for your own rental car. But the car rental places usually have a special with the dealer, so you can get a car cheap (around $20 per day).

My dealer is hesistant about giving me a rental even though I have an extended warranty. I usually have to push them.

No rental car for warranty work. If you have the security plus service plan (extended warranty), you only get the rental car covered if the warranty repair would have been covered by the service plus extended warranty. So, for instance, squeeks and rattles are covered by the original warranty, but not by the extended warranty, so no rental car reimbursement. Also, if they can not duplicate the stated problem, sorry, no rental car reimbursement.

Everytime I take mine in for something... The salesman I used gives me either another Titan or anyother vehicle (except for 350z and Armada).. They had my Titan for 7days and I was sporting around in a 05 Altima.. It was prett sweet car.. I put almost 300 miles on it.. When I got it, the car had maybe 40miles on it...

My salesman was like oh well... They should have fixed your truck the first time... He is cool about a loaner car..

My dealer just laughed at me when I asked for a loaner. They had the Titan for a total of 4 days.

Well honestly I think if I went through service dept. to try and get one they would say no... But I give the service department my keys, and thenI go find the salesman I used and tell him I need a loaner.. He says you want a Titan or a car.. So its pretty cool...

My titan is going to be at the dealer for a repair for two days when the part comes in and they are going to give me a rental. This is at Power Nissan in Irvine.

My whole steering column is going to be replaced. The streeing wheel shakes side to side. The dealer can't find anything wrong with the column so they are just going to replace it.

My dealer will give me a loaner for anything, even standard service, if they have a car available, they normally rotate out 3 cars for nissan.
