Re: How is Everyones Overall Paint ?

My 04 smoke has the orange peel effect, have yet to see a darker titan that doesn't have the orange peel effect. I never even noticed it until hearing people on here gripe about it. Now I notice it on alot of new cars, guess they all use crappy paint/crappy application. As far as swirl marks go, a quality wax such as Zaino makes them completely dissappear when applied and buff'd by hand.

Re: How is Everyones Overall Paint ?

No orange peel at all except for the undersides (which is normal), although car doors and rocks from 15k miles on the freeway have left their marks. You suck it up and slough it off as the age spots of a happily used truck.

At least you don't drive a white Neon. Does anybody see these any more with less than 2-3 square feet of grey primer showing through?

Andrew
