Driver Side Power Window Issue

anyone having probems with their drivers side power widow?? every now an then the window wont roll. If i trick the harness by moving a few other buttons--or just wait 30-60 seconds--it will then come back up--it has happened about 6 times now. after my last ordeal with Nissan tech destroying my stereo--I am concerned with going back--any fixes known??

I had my passenger window regulator break 3 weeks ago. Window is stuck down. I still dont have my truck back so I would go to the dealer and order the part before it breaks and you have to wait for one on back order.

same thing happened to me about a week ago my drivers side window would not roll up it just clicked but after a few tries and about a minute it rolled up hasnt happened since though so im waiting before i get it serviced. let me know what nissan says if you bring it in. when i first got the truck you couldnt roll the windows up with the key (by sticking it in and turning it to the right) so i took it to nissan and when i got there the service guy tried it and it worked (of course) and its worked since. he said new truck breaking in.

I was never able to get it to roll back up, so yes they saw it down. There is also another Titan at the same dealer with the same problem. I think the regulators are just sh**y.

I had this weirdness happen in my Armada as well. It rolled up after a few seconds, and no problems since. Keeping my fingers crossed..

Happens to me almost every day. But fortunately it always rolls back up after clicking the button a few times.

BTW, one of the QC/recall issues on the Nissan Quest is exactly this: driver's side window regulator. Same design as the Titan's? Anyone with a Quest on the forum?

Hey folks, a couple of weeks ago I was in the Nissan dealership to talk to their technicians and they looked into the problem. Their answer is what it was something to do with the brain of the truck. So it is not a defect or a problem.
After they explained how to work the window I have not had a problem. You won't have a problem with the window going down it's only coming up. If you were like me I just quickly lifted and let go. The driver window would come up but not the passanger window. So you sit there and keep lifting up and nothing happens. Wait a while and whala, your window goes up.
Solution, according to Nissan, was to hold the up buttons for a split second longer when rolling them up. IT WORKS. If you still do it too quick then wait 10 seconds for the computer brain to reset itself and then you can roll up the window. Why they would set the brain up that way is beyond me. Hope that helps you.

Mine has done this quite a few times, ALSO as I'm sure most of you know you can use the key in the door to raise and lower the windows, you just turn the key and hold it for a few seconds and one way it raises the other lowers. Well mine will lower the windows but when raising them it only raises the passenger window.
Now I'm not disputing what Crockett said about the computer but from My experience quite a few of the service folks at the dealership where I got mine are really in the dark about the electronics in the titan and they will say anything to the customer just to satisfy him so he will go away.
