nice article

Thought this may be relevant here. Sums up a lot of the things that have been mentioned here the past couple of weeks. I plan on buying an '05 Titan, but now hear rumors that Ford is coming out with a supercharged 5.8 with 380 hp. The Titans I've driven are much more fun to drive and have much less sway (feels like you're in a ****pit instead of a big truck), so will probably still stay with the plan, but just an fyi that the Big 3 are gonna be focusing on engine power very soon (that's what's killing them currently). Thanks.

That's a pretty interesting article.....my opinion is that atleast they have realized the problems that exist and are working towards resolution. Granted I have no problems <except for the radio issue> so I'm pretty satisfied with my Titan. I just have to get used to the larger size and keep from running it into the carport again LOL (body shop here I come Monday). Resolution won't come overnight, but atleast they're working towards it.

Great news for future Titan owners. For me, the news is too late for my sub-Nissan standard, QC-issue-laden Titan, which continues to make more visits to Nissan service department. Before I purchased my Titan, I joined this forum. Some members who are lucky not to have any problems may say, "you tend to read about people with problems here, so the information you read here is skewed..." Well, I'm not too sure. Apparently the problem was enough for Nissan to take major initiatives to correct the situation. By the way, I recently discovered that one of the leather seat's seam has small rips alongside similar to the problem mentioned in the article. Another one to add to my long list... Thanks for letting me vent my frustration and thanks to the contributors of this forum for sharing valuable information!

I think this post is irrelevant. Of course the big 3 are shaking in their shoes. Americans love trucks and we dont mind switching brands. Those who are brand loyal are very few and far between. The majority of the people dont care if the truck says Ford, Toyota, Chevy, Nissan, or Dodge. The price and deal is what matters and of course...the product! Titan is a far superior product than the crap Ford has been selling. Ford has been forced to redesign - Thank goodness the Titan has come to market...
