Sunvisor Too Low?

I haven't had to use the sunvisor till just the other day. I noticed that the sunvisor would not stay in the uppermost position toward the windshield. After I pushed it up there, it would come down a bit. Unfortunately, it's low enough that I need to lower my head in order to see what's coming up on the road. I tried it a few times since then and gave up on the idea of using the visor. Instead, I decided to wear sunglasses. Does anybody else have this problem??

Yes. I experience the same thing with mine. There is a little bit of "play" where it pivots in both directions before it actually catches. At that sharp angle, if it would hold the position that you push it in, it actually gives you another 1/2" or so of visibility. Sometimes, that is all that you need.

Same problem but I don't use it as much in this truck because the roof is farther forward than previous vehicles. It is aggrevating though.
