I just bought a titan bulid date 8/04. It has 350 miles on it. after i drive it about 20 miles and the transmission gets warm i have a torque converter shudder at 65 to 70 mph after i release the throttle and go to accelerate lightly again(worse going up hill). It happens for a few seconds until the torque converter is completely locked up. anyone else having this problem? 2wd se big tow package. taking back to the dealer this tuesday hopefully it is just a reflash of the pcm software. other than that i love the truck
I have symptoms similar to yours. My truck shudders at ~ 46mph with little of no pressure on the accelerator. If I shift to 4th gear the shudder goes away. It appears this is a lockup issue or something. I have not taken into the dealer yet but will next week or so. Have you rectified your shudder problem yet?
Dealer says it's typical on all titans. Out of habbit now I put the transmission in 4th anytime I drive below 55. Its a pain but gets rid of the shudder. Basically the dealer has no clue on what to fix and is waiting for more service calls for Nissan to perk up and send out a TSB.

I've got the same problem as you "Ksharpe", the dealer re-balanced my tires and did the nissan brake fix but still didn't fix the problem. I have an appointment tommorow, I will let you all know what fixed is, if anything will.
