Is alignment covered under warranty

Seems to pull ever so slightly to the right no matter what road, crowned or not. Just wondering before I call the stealer.

Funny I should see this. I just picked up my truck last night for the same problem. They said "no problem found, truck follows crown of the road". It was covered at no charge but my truck is only a week old. I haven't had a chance to bring it to a perfectly smooth road yet, we'll see.

"Should" be covered for 1 year or 12,000 miles. Check the owners manual or one of the other warranty booklets, it's probably in there.

It is. I don't know for a fact how long, but I know I have taken mine in at least once for an alignment.....

Actually alignment isn't covered under warranty, as it is considered basic wear and tear. With how the roads are around here and many other parts of the country, your alignment can be out of whack in almost no time. Most people with new cars take good care about running over potholes and the such, but there should be no reason that alignment should be covered under warranty, especially considering how little the cost would be. If your dealer actually makes the determination that the alignment is out of whack (for a practically new vehicle that common sense suggests shouldn't have out of whack alignment yet), then there will be two options...either they can eat it and show awesome customer service OR they will pass it along to you, the consumer, that it is considered wear and tear. Most dealers probably won't eat it since it is such a wear and tear thing. I would never expect a dealer to make alignment a warranty issue because of just that, wear and tear.

Mine pulls slightly to the right also. Has since it was new in May. Not enough to be a problem, just a minor annoyance.

It may not be an alignment problem, it may be a out of round problem. A out of round tire will cause a slight drift. I learned about it this summer on my Titan. The right front tire was found of round and it was replaced, the replacement was out of round, also.

Move your front tires to the rear and then drive it. If the drifting stops, its your tire.

It is in the warranty booket. one alignment for the 1st year.

But, the dealership has to test drive it to prove it is out of alignment.
