Third time's the charm?

OK, everyone, brace yourselves...

My Titan just STRANDED ME FOR THE THIRD TIME!!!!!

When I picked it up day before yesterday, they thought they had isolated a bad ground location and all was well. Yeah, right.

Went to lunch today and had the same problem - turn the key, truck no start. First indication was when we got to the restaraunt, it did not beep the horn when I locked it w/ the fob. I told my buddy, "uh-oh, I wonder if my problem is back." Guess I shouldn't have said that.

More info to come.

Dan

Damn man, really sorry to hear that. Hope all goes well with this. Eventually they will send some Nissan engineer over and they may actually want to get a hold of your vehicle for testing and replce it for you....it's a long shot but you never know. At least a nissan engineer may have a better shot at fixing it.

Sorry to hear that Dan I think you need to gain more attention to this matter and begin the process to either get rid of it or get another at no cost to you whatsoever. Keep us posted.

He can't lemon law it, he isn't the original owner (if I am thinking of the right one....but I am insanely stupid sometimes)

You are absolutely correct, Trikky. Although I have been in contact w/ the original owners and they had not experienced any problems other than some common TSB stuff (4-LO light, breaks, AC condensate line).

I am going to research Magnusson-Moss. I've been told that it might be helpful since the lemon law won't.

Dan, I would fight for the dealership to swap out the BCM and see if that fixes the problem. If I read the ESM correctly, the BCM controls many items on the truck, alarm included. If you had an issue or noticed something odd when trying to disarm I would check the central source - if this makes sense.
