My front windows will sometimes not roll up after pulling the switch to the auto-up position.

My service department tells me it is a problem with the current program in the BCM, requiring a reflash - but the reflash hasn't been released yet.

Is this true?

I have a ticking noise coming from the lower portion of my dash. As I accelerate the ticking noise increses, I took it in and they told me that it was due to bad gas? To run premium for a week and see if it goes "away". I have done that, and the ticking is still there, what could it be? Spark plugs?

Ok - I just noticed that my oil pressure guage pegs before the engine starts. Bad sensor? Can I replace it myself?

LOL, don't ask if you don't mean it.

See here, here, and, finally, here.

Latest on the story, dealership says that Nissan support told them that they could not diagnose if it didn't exhibit the problem (it's started after it's flatbed ride 3 times). They cleared the codes and told me to pick up the truck on Friday afternoon w/ marching orders to bring it back in after 150 miles, the check engine light coming on, or needing a tow, whichever comes first.

It's been starting for me all weekend (fortunately), but after a trip to the grocery store on Friday nite, the slip and VDC Off lights came on. Stayed on until the truck was restarted when I got home.

Since the dealership on Friday has not officially "closed" the service ticket out, they are technically still on their 3rd repair attempt. I have an attorney chomping at the bit on this one. As soon as this ticket is closed out, the paperwork for that avenue gets faxed in before I even bother calling the tow truck. As a 2nd owner, GA lemon law doesn't cover me, but I've been assured that Magnusson-Moss will provide all the ammunition I need.

Send a message via Yahoo to goathead
it not only goes on repair attempts but also on days in service. so if the ticket is still open that is considered days in service. my parents just had a vehicle bought back under the lemon law in missouri. it taught me to document EVERYTHING and EVERYTIME the vehicle is in service.
