Is it just the Titan or do F-150 and Silverados....

HI there, Im about to go pick up my new Titan, its a CC 2004 SE Off road 4x4 truck...

Ive owned 2 F-150 top of the line truck in the past 5 years, non of them have failed in anything, got lucky maybe...

DO other trucks have same little problems that the TITAN have?

THX in advance..

The Titans little problems are nothing compared to the problems others are having...i dont know about chevy's but ford's are having many problems with their f150's...the biggest being the vibration problem they can't fix yet...i came to a titan from a ford explorer and i love every minute of it...my ford was in for warrenty work atleast 2 times a month until i just stopped caring about the problems...get the titan you wont be disappointed...

My wife's car, an '01 Honda Civic, has had 6 recalls and over 200 TSB's.

When it comes down to it, every car/truck is going to have some sort of problem. It's a given, considering that it is just another man-made object.

I love the 04' Titan, I probably will get one, but you guys have to admit, the first year of the Titan was somewhat ruff. That is putting it gently. I've looked at the Dodge Ram 1500 4x4(Great style but bouncie ride, hemi that is more of a hog than the endurance V8,and painfully vanilla interior),F-150 4x4 XLT and FX4 SC(good ride, awesome interior, very weak Trition V8,$2-3k more that the Titan)and the Toyota Tundra(one look, not for me,MID-SIZED P/U AT BEST),and none of them stack up against the mighty Titan(Great value, big and powerful V8,like it ought to be,and not a cookie cutter big 3 truck-very inovative ideas-utility bed,180 degree door (KC)ETC....)All the problems that the Titan has had will not deter me. Alot of the problems could have been adverted if proper training w/management and employees had taken place. I'm sure that the late 04's and now 05's will be just find. It was good to see that most guys and gals that had the problems they did, didn't give in but kept their trucks, or at least went back and bought an 05.

My wife had the same car. It had one recall that I know of (something with the cruise control switch I think) and one TSB that affected her (front shocks went caput).

We just traded it on on a new Murano, so now we're waiting for the alternator to go bad.

I wasn't suggesting that our car had all, or any, of these problems; in fact, we've had none (though we bought the car used with 30K miles on it.) Those are just the numbers of listings for that year/make/model on my insurance company website.
