Truck is acting weird...*UPDATE* Those who did groundwire tick fix should read this.
Last night I went to take it for a spin and the key fob wouldnt unlock the doors. I unlocked it with the key and everything seemed fine.
I go out this morning and my windows are down and the truck wont start. All the dash lights come on so the battery isnt dead.
I disconnected the battery just now, hoping it will reset whatever problem it is having.
Anybody have a similar experience?

Well I started to remove the ground wire that I put in for the ticking fix and the alarm went off. It has something to do with that.
The wire is completely out now and everything is working fine now.
Im not sure why this happpened.

Just a thought, you can roll your windows down with your key fob. I have had my key fob activate in my pocket when sitting in awkward position by a coin pushing on the button and my panic alarm activating.

Well neither one of the key fobs would work. I didnt have headlights either.
I think the truck had Gremlins
It had to do with the extra ground wire I added, why Im not sure.

Well I added the new ground wire for the fix for the ticking.
I ran the ground wire from were the battery is grounded to the back of the block.
I had it set up this way for a couple of weeks now without incident.
I started to pull the ground wire off of the battery side and the alarm went off. I only got half a turn with the wrench.

You mentioned you had an alarm. Is it factory installed or aftermarket? It could be draining your battery. Also your battery could be bad. Even though it's starts sometimes and doesn't other times. I read another users post stating his "exploded" I believe.

Well, here it goes...our truck keys as you know have a security chip in them. Key matches the truck, truck then starts. It just so happens my 350Z has the same type of setup and being that I had the keys on the same key ring, my truck thought I was trying to steal it because some how it was picking up the Z key.
Dealer couldnt explain why my windows were down though.
So now I cannot have the Titan key and the Z key on the same key ring
