Rear Window Seals Leaking, rear seatbelts blow

I had 5 people and all their crap in my truck on the way to turkey day. After a while we switched drivers, so I thought I'd sit in the back to see what it was like on the highway. Damn comfortable, except 2 things:

1. My passenger side window leaks around the black seal. The window/seal is quiet, but where the seal meets the door frame there is a good sized leak. I think I might just put silicone caulk in there, rather than go to the dealer for visit number 5,323,432.

2. The rear seatbelts blow. The center one (has been replaced once), locks up if you just lean forward a bit, and then sometimes you can't get it to unlock unless you release it and then let it sit for a bit. The passenger belts lock up pretty easily, too.

So I guess this is the pattern - Truck drives great, awesome passenger compartment, etc, mitigated by wind noise and crappy seatbelts.

Mine too....

My seatbelts are doing the same thing. Our 4 year old rides in front and back and all the seatbelts lock him up and he sort of panicks a little. Then, when you unbuckle the belt and let it go against the carseat, it even binds to the car seat arm sometimes. The front passenger belt sometimes binds on my wife too. I hope the seatbelt recall we got fixes this.... WTF

My wife complains constantly about the seatbelt locking up on her ! So much so I just dont want her in my truck anymore. Either that or I will head to walmart and get that seatbelt tensioner thing.

My driver seat belt is all I know..but I can tell you that going down most hills I can't lean forward or it locks...it is moody.depends on humidity it seems....I guess it is on the safe side of tension possibilities??????

My rear window passenger side seal was allowing water in also. The dealer called it the window "sash". I have another thread, search "water on floorboard" in problems section. They replaced the sash and I haven't had any problems since. All of the water was running to the front floorboard and we could not figure out where it was coming from for about 29 days. I never had the A/C issue like many others.

I can tell you for a fact that the seatbelt recall doesnt help at all when it comes to locking up. They still still do it and it is annoying

To my knowledge, the seatbelt recall only takes care of replacing the plastic the goes over the upper bolt that secures the seatbelt. This plastic piece is supposed to by more energy absorbent, in case truck is involved in an accident. All my seatbelts including the drivers lockup far to easily.
