Are you guys experiencing any of the same issues the 2004 titan has?

Hiya 6th...

So far (Knocking on my head as a piece of wood) I haven't had any of the problems with the '05 like I did with our '04. We are at 2600 miles on her in three weeks though, so only time will tell. We didn't have the first judder with the brakes on the '04 till around 6k miles or so if I remember correctly. Should be about 2-3 months from now when we hit that plateau. But overall, this truck is mucho better. No radio fade...no joint/paint issue on the top...no seperating tailgate bib area and the like on this one.

Cool

I hope more of you guys respond to this thread. I am looking into '05s right now and I am wondering the same thing. I did my best to resist the '04 models, but there is no way I can go another year with my current truck (if I list the problems I have had with my '98 Dakota this post would be waaayyyy too long ). Can anyone with the '05s please respond. I would most definitely appreciate it, and I am sure that I am not the only one. Thanks.

Mike

No problems. Only 1 month and 1,100 miles, so still very early.

Wink

Well, as I said before, I do appreciate the responses. Hopefiully we can keep this thread going so that we can see what happens to the '05s a little later in life, and compare our results to the '04s.

So far I have just over 800 miles and my fuel gauge is stuck on full, my top center console cracked at the mounting screw and my passanger seat squeaks everytime I hit a bump. Nothing really major, just annoying, but still love the truck.

Only had mine a week and 300 miles. Back cab window squeels when going up. I put silicone on rubber parts to quite it. Also check to make sure they tightened your antenna during prep, mine was about to fall off. Other than that, I love it.

Picked up mine 5 days ago and I told them to make sure I get a full tank of gas. About 2 days go by and gauge didn't move. Brought it in today and they ordered me a new fuel pump. They told me sending unit is with or in the fuel pump. Said parts will be in about a week. That's it for now, only have 510 miles on it. Eddie

We are in the same situation, only my old truck is a '95 Nissan XE-V6 and the list of problems is short.

So far I'm rather frustrated with reading about all the front brake problems.
