Can anyone confirm this bulletin?

I gave this bulletin to the service dept. and informed them that this is exactly what I'm experiencing and they said there is no bulletin and this one is no longer valid. I have to pick the Titan up in an hour. Please help.

I don't know much about this, but if it no longer valid I would think Nissan would have sent out something. I would ask to see where Nissan resended the bulletin or at least what they were using to make this claim.

I just called Nissan Consumer Affairs. They informed me that this is in fact a valid service bulletin. Unfortunately the bulletin doesn't list any Vin numbers affected. The only reference on the Bulletin is Titan (A60) Armada (TA60). The woman on the phone said my engine code was K56, but she wasn't sure if the A60 referred to a specific engine. Looking at the difference in parts, I would think that I should be able to see if I have the new part since they look way different. Can anyone verify if (A60) is an engine code?

K56 probably stands for 5.6L. Thats the one and only engine offered in the Titan and Armada. I can't believe the Consumer Affairs lady didn't know this.

Lightbulb

Sounds like service techs refusing to do warranty work b/c they aren't making any money off of it to me...

Get a file/case # from Nissan Customer Service and have them call your dealership to arrange for them to fix the problem and honor the TSB. Document it and file a complaint with Nissan. You're not the first one to experience a problem like that.

Go here to see another one...
