Cloth seat threads tearing
My driver side seat has threads tearing. The seat portion next to the right thigh is tearing. I figured that if the seat would tear that portion of the seat next to the left thigh. Being that the truck is a 4x4 and off the ground, that you will rub this area of the seat every time you get out. Anyone having problem with their seat?
Truck was born on 6-01-04 and I bought it 8-10-04. Smoke gray with gray interior, 4x4 off road package, 9800 miles. Thanks Jim P. |

This one problem I haven't experienced,,,,yet. Mine is also 4x4 but I use the steps to climb in and out and don't really slide in and out. Do you have the steps?

[FONT=Comic Sans MS]Mine is doing the same thing in several areas. The passenger lower seat, drivers lower seat, and rear passenger lower seat. I noticed it Sunday when I was vacuuming it out.
I went by the dealer Tuesday and they are going to replace the cloth on those sections. They said it will take about 2 weeks for the material to come in.[/FONT]

I don't have steps, can't afford them right now. Looks like I need to put them on before the warranty is up. Other wise I am going to the dealer Monday.
