Brake ! light came on. Am I safe for now?

Guys, the ! brake light, that yellow exclamation point, came on today driving, looked in the book, it says look at fluid and its fine. the brake pedal is OK and it brakes fine, no issue. Could this be an ABS light? What is the problem if any of you have seen this already. Do I need to stop driving? I have the VDC and tw package if this helps.

Chris production date may 04

Tire Light

Its the low tire pressure light coming on, probably because its cold out. All the light tells you is that one of your 4 tires is below 28psi.

thanks a whole bunch guys. So basically its on until march! I guess I need to pump them up a little, I wonder if they heat up, if the light will just go out! or do you have to reset the sensor?

Chris

set your tire pressure to about 36psi and drive your truck for about 1-2 miles and the sensors will acknowledge to pressure change and the computer will acknowledge the sensor and turn the light off

BigT56PA,

What they are trying to tell you is the ! light is for low tire pressure and not a brake warning light.

As Nismech03 said...put more air in your tires and drive around a bit...it will go off.
