Ok so it has just now began to get really cold here in central KY, but since it has, my HVAC lights have been acting weird. When the outside temp is below about 30 degress and i turn the headlights on, they HVAC lights will not come on. All other dash lights come on normally. Once the interior of the truck begins to warm up, the lights will magically come on by themselves (as long as the headlights are still on of course). Has anyone else seen this? I know electronics can be affected by temp, but honestly its not THAT cold here and I cant imagine why only those lights would be affected.
also, I need someone to check something out for me. Do your window switches stay lit up all the time? Mine do and only the two window switches and the door lock button stays lit, the window lock and the mirror adjust switch do not light up. are they supposed to? i never really paid attention before lol They dash light thing has just got me paranoid.

I have not noticed a problem with my lights on the HVAC, but I'm in FL. As far as the switch lights, that is correct-- the window lock and mirror adjust do not light up.
This happens on my truck too. There was an thread or two about the same issue with others. Mine will pop right on if I roll the dash dimmer a tad.

I am here in Indiana and it has been cold here, 20's and below. My truck too has the same light issue. I have talked to the dealership about it and they said they would look at it. Interested to see what they find. Glad to see I am not alone with this problem, I think...

this fixed my issue. i just rolled the dimmer switch a couple of times and have not had the problem since. i will let the dealer know about the issue at the next oil change though.

KY TITAN, I live in a very cold area and have just started having this problem!!!!! My only concern is MY truck stays in a heated garage(55degrees) So tomorrow I'll roll the dimmer and see what happens!!!!! The other lights that you mentioned dont light up!!!!
I have the same problem, and the temperature here is kinda cold. Can someone tell me where the dimmer adjustment is? Also, does someone know if its dealer solvable?
Thanks,
Paul
