What is it with ME and power windows??

Almost made it to 3000 miles with no trouble. Put the driver's side window down the other day, heard it clunk, groan, and then it refused to come back up. Deja vu!!

Sheesh, I was really hoping that this later build date truck would be better than my other one. So far it has the window problem and the knocking at idle.......I found TSBs for both problems and will take them in when the truck goes in for an oil change and brush guard installation on Thursday.

I'm thinking its a good thing I leased this truck. Let's hope the problems end with just these 2, other than that the truck has been VERY good, even rescued a Chevy that was in trouble.

Better call ahead so they can order the parts. It's the regultor, it happened to me just like that. happened on a weekend too, so of course I had to wait until monday.

They probably have the regulator left from my other truck that was never replaced. The TSB says its the switch so I don't know. Will let Ed figure it out, its the same symptoms as my other truck had, I can hear him groaning now.

Can't say as I'm too happy with these problems, but hey that's what we get for being test dummies for Nissan right??

a temporary fix, until you get to the delaer to get it resolved (or if parts have to be ordered), is when the drivers window won't come back up, put the passenger window down (not all the way) and then attempt to put the drivers back up. This works for me when I've had the problem. Almost as if it thinks "hey the passenger window is working, so I guess I will" LOL

Now that's weird, but hey, nobody said these trucks don't have personality.

All I do is wait a few seconds and bring it up on manual until it clears the door, then send it up on auto. I learned that trick from my other Titan since I had to put up with problem windows for 5 months.

Thumbs up New swithes here too!

Just had both window switches replaced last week...~3,600 miles. They are "NORMAL" now. Also rubber squeegie on inside of drivers window had to be replaced. Best part is NO WATER LEAKS!!
