A/C Water Leak - Carpet Replaced, Bad Job!

Well I had that a/c water leak in the front passenger seat and the dealer fixed that problem and ordered new carpet. Well, apperentlly they had to take the whole center consle out and everything to put in the new carpet and now the consle just doesn't sit right. Also, under the dash in the passenger seat I noticed things that were not right when comparing to another Titan. Also, the carpet is all mushed up on the driver side and the carpet has 2 staples in it holding velcrow, just a LITTLE velcrow, do yall have a couple of small staples in your driver side where your carpet ends under the dash? it seems odd to me. Also I found out that underneath my carpet is a some big black wire or metal this is supposed to go OVER the carpet to help hold it in place. You would think they would know how to install the damn carpet! I'm going to be going back to the dealer and have em put the whole carpet in agian this time cause it just is not fitting the truck right.

Man am I glad I fixed my own A/C leak - I took my 2004 Titan to the Dealer about the A/C leak -when I found out they would probably have to pull the dash I decided to go to Home Depot & get some plastic tube and adhesive & fix it myself for about $5.00 - I caught my leak early so I didn't have to replace it.

I have had the carpet, seats & center console out of my truck ('04 CC) previously for sound deadening mat install and I did not notice staples or big black wire or metal that goes over the carpet.

Where is the "big black wire or metal" located?

BTW, what did the dealer do to fix the A/C drain leak?
