bktitan saga continues (bittersweet)

As per my previous post my titan is in the shop again!!It went in yesterday with the same problem, the truck will not accelerate past 55 mph!! The bad thing is,you never know when its going to happen. Some times it runs fine, then the next thing you know, you go to merge in traffic or attempt to pass then, nothing.Has anyone else experianced this? This thing has 1700mi.
and its been in the shop 5 times.Twice for this problem, once for cruise control, once for brake judder, once for vibration.Thing is,I love the truck(TITAN ,THAT IS) NOT THIS ONE HOWEVER.

Never heard of it, and before you get flamed for having only 6 posts and already being on the warpath, my friendly advice would be to stick this information in your OLD thread and delete this one. Consolidation of information is key.

Smells like there might possibly be a burning troll under your hood - maybe he's dating the electrical gremlin that's sleeping in your truck's computer.

Maybe Nissan has started making SCHOOL BUSES and put one of the speed limiters for one of those in your Titan.

I concur w/ everyone else here, consolidate your posting and shave off all of your body hair. (Maybe they won't notice you're a troll that way...)

When I came to this forum,my intentions were honerable.Like people sharing a common thread,The titan. While doing my best to be informative and share my experiances, although bad,it seems my integrety is in question. So Im sighning off to battle my problems alone and heres to hoping no one else has to experiance th e reoccuring episodes that I have to encounter.Good luck to all. BYE.

A good natured ribbing and you call it quits. Nice. I was poking fun, but also recommending you follow Trikky's advice and consolidate your posts. That's all. Good luck, sounds computer related or electrical possibly.

bktitan,
Having not participated in this thread until now, and reading thru the posts, my impression is most are simply advising you to consolidate your posts from previous posts, instead of starting new threads with each recurring problem. As far as any hint of your possibly being a "troll," I suspect it is related to a great deal of sensitivity to some recent posts who were obviously put up by trolls. Don't take the ribbing personal, we've all been on the receiving end on occasion!

Had similar experience with my Maxima when the MAF went bad. It went into fail safe mode. It won't let you rev past 4k I think or go very fast.

BKtitan, Sorry didn't mean to offend you with the "burning troll under your hood" comment - if you have had all these problems and the truck has been in the service department that much I would start to consider your legal options, ie your states "lemon law" if applicable - this is my advice of course after reading through all of your post - of which they all are in regard to some issue with the truck. Actually on your second post (just a few hours after your first post) you did mention you spoke with an attorney - if you've continued to have issues you should follow up with him and seek his counsel.
With regard to you post it would be wise to continue from the first thread instaed of starting new threads labeling the Saga #1, #2, #3 etc. With the rash of recent obvious "troll" activity ion this forum I think alot of the long time, genuine users, are a bit edgey and protective of the great site they have all helped to put together.
Good Luck with you truck.

with all due respect freeky, if you have 7 posts and they are all major issues, and with reading this last one, with no one else even hearing of that problem in a titan, you should be worried about dumping that piece of junk rather than coming on a website and complaining 7 times in a row. that is not looking for help--that is either complaining or trolling. complaining is allowable but not very flattering and i believe 'ribbing' with a response is better than people not caring or in this case practically not responding at all. its a free country and if you are going to be free to complain or troll rather than fixing or dumping, people are free to 'rib', and yes, it is 'right' and allowable both ways.

We know he is a Ford man w/ that FX4 in his user name, so what would you expect? Trolling is the obvious answer, that and he has had his feewings hurt by all of the Titan owners that smack little girly trolls around...

If he really wants help he would be on this site more consistently since he joined in July and would have an a$$ load more posts than 10 in 6 months...
