Problems with AUX Function and Low Ground Clearance

Has anyone else had a problem with listening to the AUX from the back seat headphone jacks with something plugged into the AUX input in the front radio console? There is a AUX light on the back console and the manual says that you should be able to listen to AUX from the back seat! Why else would there be an AUX light on the rear console. It is obviously not meant for the DVD since it has its own light. The dealership tell me this is normal for a Titan...I tell them, it may be normal, but it is not what is advertised! All you need to test this is a mp3 player or tapedeck to plug into the deck and a set of headphones. Make sure the radio is in rear mode!

================================================== ======

My next question is about the advertised ground clearance of the Titan. On the Nissan homepage, it says that the 2005 Titan:

Min Ground clearance @ Rear Differential 10.3inch
Min Ground clearance with off road package 11.3

I recently measured my clearance at the oil pan guard (the lowest point) on my 2004 Titan that has the Off-Road pkg. I dont think there is a difference between the 2004 and 2005 ground clearances. Does anyone know if this is true? Also, my ground clearance was 9.5 inches at the oil pan guard. Does anyone else have a similar problem, and is this something I should talk to the dealership about? I am pretty concerned with this discrepancy. The way I read it is that since I have the off-road pkg, I should have a "min clearance" of 11.3 inches at the lowest point on the underside of the truck.

Other problems I have had: Low Rear differential oil, overhead console cracked, seat cover coming apart, drivers side door molding bent, armrest has something protruding from it, realigment, rattle in dashboard, rear window molding loose, wind noise from side view mirror with big tow pkg, tape markings on roof that had to be rubbed out, rattles in both overhead consoles and in middle of dashboard, blower motor making a whish sound in vents, and many other small things.

Thanks, and I hope to get a few quick responses because I am going to bring it in again in the next few days.

I plug my portable dvd player in AUX and listen from the back seat with wirless or plug in head phones. Make sure you have the headphones on, little headphone indicator in radio display, rear controls on and aux pushed in back. Turn volume up loud. There never seemed to be a very loud volume while in aux but you can hear o.k. Rattles. Take to dealer or like I do just look for them. Most find in defrost vent by windshield, or if you pull the cover off of the radio you may find something loose or in my case the wiring receptacles were rattling against the plastic. The rest , take to the dealer. The woosh I have too but I believe it is in most of the Titans. Ground clearance I have never checked. Another dealer item. Most of the problems I have had are minor and either I fix them or take to the dealer. I have had the same with other vehicles I have had. Good luck.

Really? you are the first to confirm being able to do what the manual actally says. Mine doesn't and eveyone I've asked doesn't work either. Do you have an 05 by chance?
