4 Weeks and counting

We are still waiting on parts. Its the purge valve or something like that, its addressed in the TSB about the engine knocking. The dealer is telling us it will be after Feb 28th before the parts will be available. True? Or are they doing what they did for the prev 7 mos and being idiots about getting parts?

My Titan has been there for over 2 weeks, I'm not thrilled about driving a truck that sounds like a 15 year old Chevy.

Decided to pick the truck up today, its running kinda yucky, but seems ok. They said the worst that would happen is that the purge valve will fail entirely and the check engine light will come on. So, with our Dodge going into the shop today we needed the Titan back. We are number 6 on the list for the part when its released.

I forgot how much I love driving that truck!

Yup, its on the driver's side, its not really a knock, more like a whooshing tick I guess. I can hear mine inside the truck when its sitting still if I don't have the stereo cranked (hehehe, its always cranked!). That and the windows are the only 2 issues I've had with this truck, I'm hoping this is the end of the problems for a while. Its so darn much fun to drive, I made hubby take Zippy to work this morning so I could have the Titan. Course I'll have to go get Zippy later since I have to work tomorrow.
