window creaking in up position

I've searched prior threads about this and saw posts with this problem
but no solutions. If i put the drivers side window down a little it goes away as well as if i push against it while it's up. Any help would be appreciated.

I Tried That But It Did Not Help, So I Checked The Tightness Of The Frame To Body Bushings And They Were Loose, After Tightening Them The Creaking
Went Away. I Hope Forever! I Wonder Why This Seems To Happen After 1000 Miles.

Did Tightening The Bushings Help You At All?

it helped with the body flex noise when my truck went uneven...but the rattle in the drivers door is still there...i believe it has sometihng to do with the window regulator...

My drivers window was making a clunking noise going down...sometimes. I took it to the dealer for "some" warranty repairs...including the window. They said the regulator had a "bad" spot in it and ordered a new one...We'll see if that does the trick!

I posted many Items that I did in the thread mentioned above, but I am pretty sure what fixed mine was adding the felt tape between the metal fram of the door and the rubber weather stripping.seal.

You have to roll the window down, pull the rubber seal out and down and add the felt tape on the edge of the steel and then put the seal back up. Not too much tape or the seal wont go back up.

Had this in my '04 and '05, fixed it in my '04 and now its seems to be gone in my '05.

Hope this is it,

I think you are onto something. Another guy from club armada posted this thread with pictures for the fix

ctuck13: How did you get the ribber seal off? After rolling the window down, do you just pull down real hard on the rubber part? I've been trying but I feel like I'm going to rip something.

I've tried sticking felt on to the body side of the car under the weatherstripping. Didn't work. Now I've taken off every piece of the door assembly and it's still making that body flexing noise. The only thing left is the rubber seal around the windows on the door side.

So just pull down and they come off ??

Thanks

When the window is down, the rubber just pulls down. Will be kind of hard at first, but once it starts, it will come out easy.

I got mad enough I pulled it out completely, which allow me to do a real good taping job, but when pulling it out from inside the door, the panel has to come off so that you can guide it back in torwards the bottom.

One other thing that someone else found on this site had something to do with the door hinges them selves, you can search and find that.

I'm going to try pulling out that rubber this afternoon. I saw the door hinge post and another one about tightening the bolts that hold the body to the frame. Not sure where to even start.

I can't wait to get rid of all my door rattles and noises so I can hear my Flowmaster Exhaust!

Results:
I pulled the rubber plastic-like weatherstripping seal that goes around the window on driver side. I only stuck some velcro on the inside side of the metal that the weatherstripping slides over. It still makes some creeking/flex noises but is way quieter than before and I must say I'm enjoying the drive again.
The only priblem is that the plastic looking part that is on the inside kind of has a gap that runs all the way around now. About 1-2mm. Oh well. At least it's quiet now.
This is what I personally think the noise is: the weatherstrip seal is a hard rubber almost hard plastic material. It seems to amplify any noise. Try tapping on it with your finger nail, then tap on the rubber on the body side.
And for some reason is vibrating or sticking to the metal. Then the plastic amplifies the noise. Then it sounds like a flexing noise.
