Angry FYI: Tech bulletin regarding FM quality

FYI: There is a tech bulletin regarding FM Radio Reception on 6 Disk CD changer boxes:

http://www.infinitihelp.com/Ownershi.../NTB04-087.htm

Anyone else notice this? I love my Titan, but noticed the poor FM radio reception less than 5 minutes after driving it off the dealer lot.

Later,

NinerGoose

God bless Mike Nolan and God bless America.

This has been discussed many times, mostly around the time that this bulletin came out. From what I remember, most people were happy with their radio after having it replaced per this TSB. Not everybody had the problem, but a lot of the early builds did. Just take it to your dealer and they should be able to replace it no problem. Even if it's just a reception problem and not the radio switching between stereo and mono, the antenna or something might be loose and the dealer can fix it.

I think most people called it "radio fade" so a search (at the top of the page) for that might yield some results. Welcome to the forum.

This TSB is an established one and most dealerships probably didn't do anything with the Titan's they still had on the lot at the time. One of those things they left that if the customer is having a problem with, then it will be resolved at the time, otherwise assume that the problem is intermittent
