Show me a company (anywhere), that is completely honest with their customer base and I'll show you where the pot of gold is at the end of the rainbow...honest, I will!
There are a lot of tactical and political reasons behind not telling the truth, or "blurring" the truth. All companies do it out of necessity and not all the time, but frequently. The people that are out on the front line speaking these lies, know it, and in most cases do not enjoy it but do so in the interest of feeding their families or paying the mortgage. The good companies though will fix it in the long run and unfortunately in many cases, that may not fit the customers timeline.
Also, it isn't only the customers that are lied too, there are a lot of stockholders in these companies that can also attest to the honest of these publicly held companies.

If you're in Alaska your choices are pretty limited when it comes to dealers. But there are so many upset people that just keep going back to the same dealer time and time again with the same results.
What's that saying "Insanity is having the same behavior, while expecting a different result". If you look around, the people who are happy with their trucks (no matter how many problems they have had) are the ones who have kicka$$ service departments.
If you take your truck in for one problem, and when you get it back you now have 3, that's not NISSANS fault. That's the dealer.
Be nice, Be nice, Be nice. You wouldn't go in and cuss out your surgeon right before open heart surgery now would ya? And if this surgeon botched your first surgery would you go back to him/her?
Consider your service department a hospital for trucks, and the mechanics there, Truck Surgeons.
NNA has nine pages on my vehicle. I have been through the nice route. What did it get me? A cut up dash and work not being done when I took it in. After having the truck for 10 months and it goes in and out of the shop for a week at a time, you then go pick it up and they did not do any work to it. After a month or so of this same problem I addressed it with the service manager and he said it would be taken care of. Well it never was. After dealing with him for a month or so I had to get the GM and Consumer Affairs involved. Why? Because I was being nice and just bring it back each time. Some times nice has to go out the window.
As far my utility bed clunking, no the brackets that the tailgate mount with were bent from the factory and it was allowing the tailgate to move excessively.
The dash rattles was the trim behind the steering wheel that goes around the instrument cluster.
I did not hijack this tread. Look at the name of the tread. I did what the topic said. Get real. I am stating facts, not whining like you. Maybe people want to give you sympathy. Waaaa, I have problems with my Titan please give me sympathy, I need it here because I can't get it any where else.
I don't want sympathy, just to let people know to watch out for this dealership.

BUT YOU KEEP GOING BACK TO THE SAME DEALER. WHY?
Is this some sort of power struggle you have going on with this dealership? Because guess what? You're loseing.
My friend you have surpassed stubborn. How many times does a person have to get kicked in the nut's before they learn to cross their legs?
I'm truely sorry you have made this decision to be miserable. You're missing out on a lot of fun.
[color=SlateGray]I finally received the Armada spoiler and hardware that I ordered for my Titan. It took one week to get the spoiler and four weeks to grt the hardware!!! Everthing installed in 10 minutes and looks great.

It is the principal. That dealership is the one that cut up my dash and they had to replace it not another dealership. The Nissan Rep meet with me and the dealership is having to replace the brackets on the tailgate. Once the problems that this dealer has caused are gone I will never go back, trust me. So far I have won. Dash has been replaced and now the tailgate is getting fixed. Giving the new car delivery person a copy of the flier I was going to hand out probably did not hurt. In fact the GM asked if I had handed any of these out yet and I said only the one he has in his hand. You could see the sigh of relief come across his face. He did not want me to hand those out.

Yup. I've had my truck in 4 times now for the brake TSB. Takes about an hour and a half, out the door. I love my service department.
