Talking Does it take a really long time to get parts?

Hey guys...and gals....

Took my truck to the dealership in early January to go over a list of things I wanted fixed. I decided to wait until I had a decent list as I didn't want to go in every week for every little thing. 8K on truck for anyone who is keeping track.

Anyway, I stopped by the dealership yesterday and they still don't have all of the parts in. It's going on 3 months now. Is this what others are experiencing? I put my list of repairs below in case someone knows of something in particular that is holding up the parts.

My list:

1. Brakes are pulsing - feels like warped rotors to me.
2. The FM Radio Fade issue (Does this help the Aux In Volume Level?)
3. The DVD player in my titan will constantly load and eject the DVD, even when the truck is off. About every 30 seconds, it cycles.
4. Rear Diff cover is already solid rust.
5. Engine noise - Was nice and quiet when I bought it, now it ticks really loud.
6. Auto up on window switches. I can make it work by not pulling up to auto right away. Start it up normal, then pull up all the way for auto. Just annoying.
7. The carpet under my feet in the drivers seat doesn't stick to the floor anymore. When I lift my foot off the floor, sounds like peeling tape off of something and the carpet comes up with it.
8. Some of the black paint on the drivers door (about halfway up) is coming off at the seam.

Also wanted to ask about fuel mileage. 10-12 isn't that great. I'm not that upset about it, just curious. If I would have wanted great mileage, I wouldn't have bought another full size truck.

I have had the seatbelts done and the Brakes done once already.

Nothing huge here. LOVE MY TITAN! I had an '02 SCrew King Ranch. I'd take my Titan any old day. Just wondering how long it has taken for parts to arrive for others.

Thanks

1. Brakes- They should have the parts on hand to perform TSB. This is the brake judder problem.
2. Radio-It took one week for them to get my replacement radio. It does help to almost equalize volume between AM/FM, CD, AUX, etc., still not a perfect match though.
3. I don't have DVD, so I can't answer.
4. Rear Diff.-They may check it, but will probably tell you it's "normal".
5.Engine tick- This could need the "ground wire fix", or it could need the EVAP canister purge volume solenoid valve TSB performed. I don't know about parts availability on this one.
6. There is a TSB for the window switches. Not sure on parts availability. Also, if you hold the switch up for 1 second, the auto-up should work fine.
7. Carpet- I don't know what would cause this, but your dealer should warranty it.
8. Paint- This could be tricky, but as long as it doesn't show any signs of being hit, they should warranty it. The body shop would have to have your truck for a day to do this.

How long do parts take? I have been waiting for nearly 5 weeks for a new headlamp assembly. It's supposed to be in early next week according to Nissan Customer Assistance. We'll see. The dealer is also doing "Customer Care" on my order. This is supposed to expedite it. They waited 3 weeks to tell me about this option. They only told me it was on...you guessed it...NATIONAL BACKORDER.

As far as gas mileage, I just logged my best yet tonight, 12.77 mpg. This is up from around 11.25 mpg before my new exhaust was installed. I do pull a 2000-2200 pound enclosed trailer most days of the week. My gas mileage stays pretty consistent whether I pull the trailer 1 day or 5 days in a week. Doesn't make sense.

Hope this helps.
