2 Reasons to look for another service dept

I got the dreaded brake judder last week. I called the dealership closest to my house (Barry Nissan in North Dartmouth, MA) in hopes that they could handle it over a weekend and get around my having to drive a loaner or rental car to work. Here are the two reasons I chose to look for another service department after calling one:

1. Service writer had never heard of any brake problems on Titans (or claimed not to anyway). Their quote was: "Brake problems? Really? Well, bring it in and we will take a look at them..."

2. Their next available appointment was three weeks out. I reiterated that my problem was with the brakes, perhaps the single most important safety-related system on the truck. Their answer was that they were booked solid with recall work for the next three weeks.

The dealership I bought the truck from told me to come in the next day and the brakes (along with two other tsb's and misc other work and an oil change) would be done in one day.
