Question. So if I just left my dealer today and they told me they had 50 people waiting on brakes, now 51, and they should be available in 7-10 days, are these just the old style being replaced?

Replaced my rotors and pads on Monday. Truck stops on a dime now with no beating me or my passengers to death.

Here's another question:

What is the length (months/miles) on the original brake pads/rotors from Nissan?

Is it 36 months/36K miles, or 12 months/12K miles?

My truck has 23K miles, and it's just now starting to vibrate on braking - I was trying to wait it out in the "new" rotor fix......

Had my brakes done for the 2nd time on Monday. My SM said they are waiting for the permanent fix. He said he feels like he is getting the run around too. The word he gets in 'any day'. At least we all seem to agree they are closer than they were at this time last year to getting this fixed.

Well officially your out of warranty for wearable parts (brakes) aka performance parts warranty but it seems that Nissan is giving some good will because they know they have troubles so talk to your local Nissan service dept.

my brakes have been done 3 times now and badly needing a 4th. my mileage when i reported it this time was 17000. nissan says they will no longer fix them, a lemon lawyer said they were probably trying to avoid the "lemon law" by not fixing it a 4th time. NC law says 3 times though, so right now the bbb is handling the case. the lawyer said if they did not get it taken care of he said he would handle the case.
