Brakes

Called the dealer today about getting my brakes fixed..He said the rotors should be cut twice at two different times and if the problem is not fixed, then they can order the replacement kit. My rotors have already been cut once, i guess they're going in for a second time. Is that true though? Has anyone else heard about this?

It all depends on your dealer. I got the fix on my first visit to a dealer 2200 miles from my home dealer. First time rotors needed turning too! Story below.

Got the new Brake upgrade Kit installed today.

Hi
read the thread you posted. Regarding your job, i didn't know the U.S. Army contracted private companies to do the R&D on their equipment. Interesting line of work though.

The work is pretty cool at times. The contractor I work for does the maintnance on all the helicopter fleet used to train pilots at Ft Rucker but we also support the test aircraft at the Aviation Technical Test Center (ATTC). The main contract employee 3000+ and we're about 300 total.

I've been traveling the USA for the last 18 years, 3 to 9 months a year, with three different employers over that time. The contract is bid every 5 years or so depending on how happy the Army is with the contractor.
It's a little easier to do the job when you know a lot of the work done helps our armed men and women serve for our freedom and help keep them alive doing so.
