Angry 2nd Brake repair.... only 6800 miles on my 05!!

Well,
at the rate Im going, I'll be getting some kind of brake service everytime I get an oil change!
At 3000 miles, while getting the 1st oil change..I had the rotors cut down, and the pads replaced, as well, as some brake kit ( that's what the service order said ).
I had the 2nd oil change this morning, and the tires rotated. While I was there, I asked them to look things over becauase I had the vibration in the wheel when I applied the brakes again.
This time, they said they would be able to cut the rotors down again ( I was not happy about that they did it again ), and said that was all they could do according to Nissan, until they came out with new rotors for us.
At least next time, my rotors shouldn't be able to be cut again, and I'll get a better fix.
I love my Titan, but this is frustrating. I know you 04 owners had alot more problems than me, but still gets me burned up.

Keeping my fingers x'd.

Once you get the new breaks installed you will forget about all of the problems that you had. There is a huge difference between the defective and the upgraded brakes. My wife and I both own titans. Mine has the fix, her truck does not (she only has about 400 mi since they turned here rotors last). Let me tell you there is a totally different feel between to two. The next time you go in, I believe it is mandatory that they replace the components for you brakes.

I thought the new rotors were out. Which dealership are you using? I'm local and started noticing some braking issues (could just be hyper-sensitivity with all the postings going around). I was hoping to find a sympathetic dealer in the Philly area.

Well, Since they've now been turned twice, I doubt they'll be able to do it again. I talked to them, and they said next time they'll have to replace them.

I believe my build date is somewhere near december. I bought it in early Feburary.

THis dealer has been working with me very well. I didn't buy it from them, but they're closer to the office. Well, not anymore since I started a new job today, and will have to find a new dealer. I hear the one I work with also owns one near the new office.

I'll keep you posted.
